Unlike other contractors that will look at something and just say "Oh this is the issue, it'll cost about $10,000 to fix" Pivotal Basement Solutions is the opposite of that. After talking with Jeff on the phone they came to my house a couple of days later and took a look at our situation. We had been getting water coming into our basement and Jeff not only took the time to check things out but he provided information on how to chase down where the leak might originate from. He went into great detail as well teaching my wife and how the water can get into the basement and how to fix it. They did not charge us for the visit at all. I can't boast enough about their knowledge, integrity, and professionalism they presented while we met with them. "Crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. As the project progressed, 2 foundation cracks were discovered which added $900 to the original estimate. Old insulation along foundation wall was removed and replaced with silvery foam sheets. Joints were taped. Some leveling of the floor was done. Sheets were laid over the gravel floor also (crawlspace is not used for storage). 2 window well covers were installed. Our main goal was to have a warmer floor in the room above. We haven't noticed a major improvement yet."

"When you hire someone to do a major project like reworking your basement so it doesn't flood, you hope that they 1. solve the problem and 2. stand by their work. Our situation was challenging in that it took a few tries and commitment to solve the problem. Acculevel stood by their work 120% which is not an exaggeration. When their initial solution unfortunately did not work as well as planned, the level of care and things they did to remedy the situation were well above and beyond what I know others would have done. They made it right and then some. It is my opinion that the challenges we faced would have occurred with ANY provider, but Acculevel kept their promise to fix our problem vs find a way to exit. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."
