I highly recommend this company for any basement work that you need done. They are genuinely honest people that are actually looking out for your best interest. Unlike other contractors that will look at something and just say "Oh this is the issue, it'll cost about $10,000 to fix" Pivotal Basement Solutions is the opposite of that. After talking with Jeff on the phone they came to my house a couple of days later and took a look at our situation. We had been getting water coming into our basement and Jeff not only took the time to check things out but he provided information on how to chase down where the leak might originate from. He went into great detail as well teaching my wife and how the water can get into the basement and how to fix it. They did not charge us for the visit at all. I can't boast enough about their knowledge, integrity, and professionalism they presented while we met with them. Please please please if you are looking for someone to help with a basement issue reach out to them, you will not be disappointed. I will be permanently keeping their company on my speed dial if i ever need help.

Jeff was great to work with. He returned my call the same day, came out the next day and did great work. He walked me through any questions I had and was so easy to deal with. They left my basement clean and the job is DONE!! I am so relieved.

The team was incredible. They were very professional, got the work done early, cleaned up after themselves, explained how the system worked and answered my many questions.

I expected this work to cost me upwards of $7,000 and was surprised that their bid came in at just under $4,000. They explained during their onsite visiting exactly what they were going to do and what I needed to do to prepare for their arrival. All work was to be preformed from inside the basement (unfinished) and would require quite a bit of coordination with a plumber and other resources and be done in a timely manner. They claimed it could be completed in a single day but I was highly skeptical given that it required jack hammering out a 45 line of basement floor just to start the project. On the scheduled day, they showed up as planned, completed the work and left absolutely no trace that they had been there. My plumber was able to return to hook up the water heater the next morning after the cement had cured. Amazing experience. Huge load off my mind. If you are in the Peoria area and have basement leakage issues, trust these guys to to the job correctly and with a ton of integrity. Can't praise them enough.

Jeff is fabulous. I have been battling water problems for years. Each rain brought 2-3 standing water. Tried several contractors that couldn't fix problem. I have been dry for 2 years. Finally finished my basement. Jeff even called after the first big rain storm to see if everything was ok. Recommended him to several homeowners in the Lake Bracken area. 10 gold stars. Thanks Jeff.

Canâ t say enough good things. I bought an old house with some small issues with water leakage. After a good rain we would inevitably at least have some water in the basement. After 3 years, I decided it was time to have a dewatering system installed. I received quotes from three companies, not only was PIVOTAL the best value but they also were very trustworthy and made sure I understood every step of the process. On the days of the install, the crews were courteous and extremely efficient. They completed my 800 sq foot basement in a day and a half and left the area spotless. It was almost a month and a half before our first rain and I was dying to see how it performed and it worked as expected. A few days later we got 10 inches of rain and I thought for sure even this new system wouldnâ t be able to keep up. The basement was dry as a bone and there wasnâ t even a drop of water. For the first time since Iâ ve owned my house, I have furniture set up in the basement and itâ s now another comfortable living space. Additionally, I know when I look to sell this house in a few years, that I will likely recoup my investment from having a water-free inspection. My experience with PIVOTAL was nothing short of exceptional and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have foundational work done.

Living in a 1912 home for 27 years,we have worked with a lot of contractors. Not all good. We were very pleased with Jeff and his crew. They were courteous, willing to take the time to explain the scope of work. I was VERY happy with the cleanup. Not enough companies take the time to do this. Work was completed 9/17/20. I am confident that with the next big rain the basement will be dry. I believe Jeff's assurances that they will come back if a problem should arise. Being a family-owned business was a big selling point for us. Delivered more than was in the original scope of work. WOW! That never happens. Jeff and his crew waterproofed our basement last February after we dealt with water leakage issues for three years. They did a tremendous job for us and finished the job in a timely manner and on budget. As proof of the quality of their workmanship, our basement was bone dry after the 5.5 inches of rain that fell on Metamora/Germantown Hills, and the greater Peoria area on July 15. Over the past number of years I have had a variety of issues with my basement to the point that it has become unusable as living space. The detriments included seepage, some flooding, mold/musty smell and cracked/bowed walls. Over time these problems have become more severe. An adjoining crawlspace suffered from some of these symptoms as well. I read enough to know a de-watering solution was needed. I suspected it would be a sizable project and I was wanting to hire a team with considerable experience that would take a consultative approach to the solution I needed rather than just closing another sale. Pivotal was the perfect choice. They know the technologies and the proper installation methods. I would expect those qualities with any company that is reasonably competent. The difference with Pivotal was the people. I honestly do not know how they could have been more helpful. They answered all of my questions, communicated well, they were always on time, and did exactly the things to which we agreed. Integrity is clearly a very high priority with everyone in their company. Projects of this type are extremely demanding physically and every employee who was involved in this work was up to the task demonstrating a very positive attitude and strong work ethic. I cannot say enough good things about this group of people. The work was completed 3/18/2020. At this writing we have not had any severe weather yet so this review is not about the system which was installed. Its effectiveness remains to be tested (but, I am confident my problems are solved). I do know this. The people at Pivotal are great to work with, and they made the entire project as painless as it could possibly be. One afterthought: Let me offer a bit of advice to those considering this type of project in their basement. I did not anticipate (even though Pivotal made it clear) the removal of some of the existing concrete floor creates a significant amount of dust. We had a number of things on stand-alone shelving which we moved away from the walls to the centre of the basement out of the work area. I merely hung plastic sheeting from the floor joists above creating a plastic wall to block the dust. This had minimal affect and was insufficient. I highly recommend taking the time to ensure everything you choose to leave in your basement during the process is well covered and even taped to minimize the settling dust. Most of my things were in plastic tote containers which helped considerably. But, covering those and the non-protected items with garbage bags or wrapped in sheets of plastic would have been a better choice as now I get to spend some time removing a fine layer of concrete dust from everything. A word to the wise....

Worked well with Andy and his brother and the workers doing the work in my home. They communicated well, were open to questions and explained the work they were doing. This is hard work and they were great to work with. I would recommend them for anyone looking to water proof their basement.

Very friendly and family oriented company to do business with. They go through everything being done and explain why it is happening. Also, they are so willing to answer my questions to clarify what it all means. No question is deemed irrelevant. The gentlemen doing the work are awesome. They clean up the worksite daily. It looks like they have not been here.
