"My home (crawlspace) was inspected recently by Foundation Recovery Systems. We were given very helpful information on improving our situation with waterproofing/encapsulation of the space. The owner was professional with his presentation/service. We were very satisfied."

"Excellent. This experience was the best I have had hiring outside help. After it was installed, I had some concerns and asked Aaron to come by. He came over on a Friday evening and to my surprise, agreed and quickly went above and beyond to remedy the situation. He was understanding and agreed with my concerns. Later I was worried about a sound I was hearing coming from the sump pump. He came up on a Sunday and turned out it was my old pump (not the new one they had installed) that was making the noise. He removed it and clearly explained why it was making the noise. The perimeter drain, pump, and dry well that they installed have all worked great since the installation, which was nearly 9 months ago now. It was very clear making sure a job was completed well and with integrity was important to him. It was comforting to know I was working with a company who valued customer service and doing a job well. Their prices were more reasonable than the 3 other companies I had estimates from. I would definitely use them if needed in the future."

"Everything went well. They provided a detailed quote of what was to be done. They started the date intended. They notified me of the progress made. We are very satisfied with the installation of our shower and sink. They stated that if we had any issues that their work is guaranteed, and to call as soon as possible with any problems. I would refer them for any plumbing work, and definitely use them again for any of our plumbing needs."

"The painters came on the day and time we were told. If we needed to talk to the owner he has either available or returned our calls promptly. Our job took longer because of the columns, but they worked around us purchasing and having the columns installed. We have been please with the paint. Our house is beautiful and white."

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can add a battery to your existing sump pump. There are batteries available that can be plugged into your existing system; however, most battery backups come as a complete system and act as a replacement for your existing sump pump.

The difference between an ejector pump and a sump pump lies in their purpose and design—an ejector pump functions to remove liquid gray water and soft solid sewage waste from your home. If you have a laundry room or bathroom in your basement, an ejector pump for your sewage tank prevents sewage from backing up in your washing machine or bathroom’s drains.

A sump pump is designed to remove excess groundwater that may enter your home, either due to flooding or periods of heavy rain.

Waterproofing or encapsulating protects against moisture, preventing mold growth and structural damage. These services also enhance energy efficiency and improve air quality by keeping humidity levels in check.

There are a few possible sump pump drainage locations, including a neighborhood storm drain, into a creek or pond, or underground. Don’t let your sump pump water go into your sewer or septic system. Ideally, your drainage spot should be on a downhill slope that’s at least 10 to 20 feet away from your home’s foundation. Before choosing a location, check your local codes and regulations.

Start by calling a plumber if you want to install a sump pump battery backup. Talk to them about your situation and needs. Sometimes, electricians or waterproofing contractors will install a battery backup, and in that case, the plumber you call should be able to point you in the right direction.
