He was quite the professional but did not pressure us in any way, like most salesmen do. We decided to go ahead and schedule to get the waterproofing done. The cost was reasonable and it made sense to get it done now rather than wait for more damage to occur, making it more expensive. We look forward to meeting the crew. "I called American Basement Solutions with issues I was having in my crawl space and they set up a time for someone to come out and look at the issues. Daniel (a family member of the family that ownes the business) called ahead of time and let me know when he was on his way to my home, He was on time and did a thorough investigation of my crawl spaces after which we discussed what needed to be done and various options to accomplish what I wanted. I was provided with a written estimate, insurance information etc. We scheduled the work at a mutually agreed upon time and his men showed up on time and went right to work completing the work on time.
There was a minor issue with some slight damage to the edge of my cedar siding from the removal of the old crawl space entry. I sent Daniel a photo of the damage via text message and he called me within 15 minutes to discussed a course of action to take care of this, We set a time and Daniel personally came out and took care of the issue. I was happy with the work he did.
I had estimates from 2 other companys prior to contacting American Basement Solutions and found American Basement Solutions to be very competitive with their price. I liked that that they were a locally owned family business and found their assement of what needed to be done very thorough. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to others.

"House was originally painted in 2006.  Advertising from company says paint lasts a lifetime, but unfortunately it doesn't....Nothing lasts a lifetime and warranty is only good for owners at the time of service.  With our initial telephone call I was told that the person I needed to schedule with was out of the country for 2 weeks and they would have him call me upon his return.  After almost 3 weeks, he didn't call so I had to call the office back.  The process of getting him out to look at the areas that needed to be touched up took several more weeks, each time with me calling the office.  This was also very frustrating since the only person that could help me worked part-time, so it was hit or miss to reach her when I called, and it was hit or miss for her to return my telephone calls.  After several weeks I was finally told the painter would be out on a certain day to do the work.  He and I walked around the house so I could show him the areas.  It was kind of a wasted effort as he missed spots I pointed out.  During the initial painting in 2006, the garage windows (2) were not painted at all.  He took care of those, as well as having to repaint 3 kitchen windows....All the windows that were done were painted shut AGAIN!
