"It went fine. They did a good job of working around the maze of piping under our kitchen sink, trouble shooting, and giving me clear descriptions of 2 different repair options. The repair person had some good advice regarding removing grease build
up ourselves and how to avoid clogs that may come from a garbage disposal. (I don't know if ours did.)
The only thing I didn't like was that the bill at the end seemed a little high, and they didn't include a breakdown of how they had arrived at that amount. (e.g. parts and service hourly costs. Big Deal discounts, etc.)

Followed up and did not exert any high pressure tactics while we waited for quotes from competitors. Always available to answer questions. Installation crew was prompt, very courteous and their installation was skilled. Crew had to move both washer and dryer in order to gain access to sump pit. I knew replacing the faucet and disposal would be a routine job. I was pleasantly surprised that the entire job went fine and they were finished in 2.5 hours. They cleaned up the work area and hauled away the old sink, etc. I will say that their prices are high, but I was willing to pay for quality work, especially with the tricky sink replacement."

"Wanted a whole house humidifier installed in my 1,100 square foot townhouse.  Not much space to work with and was not sure if one would fit.  Found Black Diamond on Angie's List and was able to set up an appointment promptly.  Phone staff was courteous and professional.  Had technician come out to view the furnace and verify install could be done.  There was no charge for the inspection.  Technician verified humidifier could be installed and explained the process and said he could install that day and I gave the go ahead.  Install went smoothly with no issues.  Technician explained how to use the humidifier.  Humidifier is running great and my house finally has humidity.  Would recommend Black Diamonds services as I was pleased with the install.  Company was prompt and professional through out the whole process.

"The crew of two arrived promptly in the morning, and were professional and efficient. Replaced two old pull out faucets with two new pull down faucets that we purchased. We also had them inspect the sinks and garbage disposals to make sure they were secure, and re-caulk around the sinks. Shortly after they left, I checked the pull down on the island which was fine, but the faucet on the double sink had problems with the pull down. I didn't notice it until five minutes after they left, so I called to let Derek know. Derek came out mid-afternoon to take a look, and moved the drain line for the dishwasher which was restricting the new pull down hose."

"After I posted the negative rating and narrative, I received a bewildered call from TDH.  They thought I should have called to reschedule, I thought they should have since they were the ones to cancel the appointment and how would I know when the item would be back in stock?  They were very accommodating in offering dates and times.  The tech arrived when he said he would and installed the unit.  Afterward he gave me a little overview of how the unit worked.  Nice unit, much fancier than the 25 year old humidifier that needed replacement.
