"It was a great deal and I'm glad we had it done. The crew did the assigned work quickly and efficiently, reporting the results to me and answering my questions about other work. They offered me an alternative for rodding the waste stacks and we are considering it. There was no heavy pressure, just good information and description. "A lot more to discuss about this than I would like. Drain tile construction seems fine, which is the most important part of this project by far! We will learn more upon a rainy season in the fall or spring. Demo was not as clean as we would have liked. We have steel studs in basement, so they pushed out walls to put drains to window wells behind electrical conduit for outlets. This ripped the drywall off of studs and pulled framing away from windows. We had to rerun electricity around the new drains and do some repairs because of this. If we had wood studs, we do not think that they would not have been able to cause as much damage, so this shortcut cost us some work. There is also a small dent in our ceiling on the main floor from when they were carrying materials. Dust was everywhere. They left the door to the basement open during demo and construction so dust was all over our main floor. Also, they mixed the concrete in our garage, so everything we move out of the basement to avoid dust is now covered in concrete dust. This is very difficult to remove since mixing with water will form more concrete. They asked what we need from them to fix this, but we do not see a good solution other than wiping down each individual item ourselves. It's a lot of work we spent a lot of time trying to avoid by following Alex's recommendations. There was a miscommunication and Reliable Basements did not put the new sump pump in, plus the check valves were put 2 inches from the lid of the sump pit leaving the pit inaccessible to us. After several attempts at communicating with them, they responded and replaced it and fixed the check valve placement in a timely manner. They missed a crack in the foundation, but were quick to come out and fill it for the same price they offered during the drain tile installation."

"Mike and Matt were great, they were skilled, efficient, and friendly. I thought replacing an under-mount stainless steel sink in an existing granite cutout would be very difficult at best. I knew replacing the faucet and disposal would be a routine job. I was pleasantly surprised that the entire job went fine and they were finished in 2.5 hours. They cleaned up the work area and hauled away the old sink, etc. I will say that their prices are high, but I was willing to pay for quality work, especially with the tricky sink replacement."

"Everything went great. Having repeated back-ups in the basement I decided it was time to do something. Black Diamond came out and put a snake camera down the access pipe while I watched. I was able to see the several places where roots had become an issue in the outside pipe. After explaining my options clearly I decided to have them install an outside access pipe to get to the "root" of the problems more easily. The pricing was fair and they came out exactly when they said they would - even though the temps were around zero outside! Despite the cold the work was done pretty quickly. The only drawback is a minor one. A mound was left behind at the dig site which I was told would settle after the ground thawed and perhaps some rains. It did settle a little bit, but there is still a good sized mound of dirt in my front yard. No big deal. I have had no plumbing issues since they installed the pipe and did a proper routing of the pipes. Overall great job.

"Called Big Mike to clean the bathtub drain in our 1st floor condo. He estimated the work to cost $150. He arrived promptly as promised and he and his co-worker performed the service very quickly. Unfortunately, during the service, the bathtub stopper was somehow broken. Big Mike stated it was due to corusion from the drainage product we were using. Instead of charging the quoted price of $150, we received an additional discount, paying an out of pocket cost of $135."
