The workers did a good job putting the posts in the ground.  They worked quickly and that might have contributed to them cutting the cable line for both our house and that of our neighbor.  We had to wait a week for our cable company to fix the damaged cable lines. While I realize that Jeff is not responsible for the cable company being slow to respond, it was his workers that caused the problem.  Jeff gave me a 10% discount off the job which I don't think was enough for the level of inconvenience my neighbor and I experienced."

"A great attribute of Tom is his ability to skillfuly move around obstacles as they present themselves. He is as well very proactive at getting in front of problems and stopping them before they escalate. He saved me a lot of trouble and money. Tom has a knack for changing directions when presented with new information (the pipe system in the kitchen was quite a challenge). He understands the importance and nature of the problem and which problem to be resolved first and sets realistic time frame. He doesn't rush his work and shows a great attention to detail. I liked the way he was so responsive to my needs and has consistently gone above and beyond his job to satisfy my design visions. He consideres pros and cons of a situation very carefully to work out the most suitable solution. I never had to call him to come back to fix his work. I keep TKL bussines card handy for some future projects. I know whenever I deal with TKL Home Improvement, it will be done right. "This company was not honest with me when they came out to do an estimate. They showed us a board that would supposedly match the ones we had damaged but we later found out that they would have been too thin. We also felt rushed in the decision making process, as the man kept insisting that we had to get it done right away. When he quoted the price, he asked us if we were claiming it on of our insurance and what deductible we had and we mistakenly told him five hundred dollars, the estimate he gave us was eleven hundred dollars, obviously the price plus the deductible. We decided these men wouldn t be the right people to do our job and we were really glad we made this decision because the people we did have complete the work only charged us six hundred and eighty five dollars total."
