"We started this project with Rob from Fire It Up. We had a crack in the floor of the fireplace to be fixed and we wanted gas logs installed. "Anthony was spectacular. We had Top Hat out to inspect our three gas fireplaces and our chimneys. After removing the vermiculite and spent ash from the bottom of the fireplaces to clean and inspect, Anthony identified that prior to our purchase of the house the fireplaces had been improperly converted from wood to gas. One fireplace did not have a fire box, one fire box had been improperly installed and the third was made from gerry rigged materials that were not fit for purpose. One of the the black pipe connections was made without pipe dope/sealant. One fireplace had a crimped supply line. One fireplace had a 12" bar for a 24" fireplace which was intended to be a starter for a wood fire, not to be used to run a continous gas fireplace. All three posed CO2 hazards. Anthony photographed everything for us, fully explained the issues and remedied all. He was polite, thorough and efficient and fairly priced. Highly recommend Anthony and Top Hat!"

Early Spring, they rehab’d the paver driveway, straightening bricks, etc. back to new status (installed 17 yrs. ago). They recently repaired the back deck masonary-bricked at a great saving, financially and in time. (Frank dignosed the source of the problem causing the bricks to shift & ameliorated the drainage issue at the time of the deck rehab. The deck bricks had tilted up against the house - others claimed the issue was due to settling/aging & suggested tearing out/replacing the deck!) in addition, Emerald Bloom’s lawn maintenance service is the best we’ve had.
