He did a rendering and it was far more beautiful than we expected. We had Custom Landscapes install an above ground pool and loved his idea to build a deck around the oval pool. We appreciate Dave's communication when a product was delayed or we had weather related issues he would let us know. If you’re installing pavers over an existing concrete slab, you don’t need to affix the majority of the pavers, but you should use a polyurethane-based adhesive on the border pavers. Polyurethane will expand and contract with temperature changes, which will help keep the pavers firmly in place throughout the year. It’s also strong enough to stand up to foot traffic. You’ll use polymeric sand between the non-border pavers to keep them in place and prevent shifting.

Although you could try to lay stepping stones directly over grass, which speeds up the installation process significantly, this method often leads to a poor result over time.
