"Was terrible! I had to spend 4 hours just cleaning the garage up after they did the worse job I have ever seen. They didn't get driveway filled at all. Let alone refinished as they told us and instead just got the tar all over siding and garage. Do not use them!"

Other regions may have a maximum of 12%, 15%, or 18%, so check with your local building department to ensure you’re laying a driveway that is up to code for your location.

The main difference between asphalt and blacktop is that asphalt has a lower ratio of bitumen—a low-grade tar-like crude oil—than blacktop. While blacktop is heated to 300 degrees or more, hot-mix asphalt is heated to a lower temperature, typically between 275 and 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
