"For years, I refused to hire a cleaning service because I was convinced nobody would do as good a job as I do myself (I probably was overestimating my wonderful cleaning abilities, but anyway...) Elliot, who runs the company, is terrific. He came here for the first visit in order to make sure he understood (and could explain to Isabel) exactly what I wanted done. Isbael, who actually handles the cleaning, does SO much better than I ever did on my own. She works very hard while she's here and is incredibly thorough, doing my hardwood floors each time with Murphy's, vacuuming all my furniture, dusting, vacuuming carpets, cleaning stainless steel applicances, etc. Although she doesn't really speak English, and I unfortunately don't speak Spanish, it's worked just fine for me to communicate through Elliot. I trust them with keys to my place and my alarm code. I think their prices (approximately $18 per hour) are unusually reasonable and, truth be told, probably below market - I would expect and would actually be willing to pay more like $23-25 per hour for this level of service (although I do add a gratuity to every charge, which brings the total cost up a bit.) This experience, for me, is an example of how I've gotten my money's worth from Angie's List - I chose them because they were so highly rated and because of the comments other members made about their responsiveness, thoroughness, etc., and I haven't been disappointed."
