These guys were great! Elliot and the team were able to squeeze me in last minute and did a very professional job.

We have been using Flors Cleaning service for year and they have always done a great job. Always on time. Small touches, such as making a flower out of the top sheet of kleenex is sweet and makes me smile.

I have been using Flor's Cleaning Services for nearly 15 years. During that time, my wife and I moved from a smaller condo to a larger home and had a couple of kids. During all that time, we have never had a problem with Flor's. Not once. The cleaners show up on time, they do a great job, end of story. Once in a while over the years, we have had to hire another cleaning service due to unexpected scheduling issues on our part. These cleaners have been fine, but never as good as what we get from Flor's. I think one reason Flor's is so great is that the proprietors focus on hiring quality people and they retain them. In fact, they won't take on more business unless they know they have the quality cleaners to do the work. Thank you, Flor's Cleaning, for your unswerving commitment to quality!

Flor, Elliot and the entire team at Flor's Cleaning Service is top notch. This is by far the most professional and personable cleaning company I've ever worked with. Not only has the quality of their weekly cleanings been impeccable (Carmen is our primary cleaner), but they have gone above and beyond to handle special requests. Examples include accommodating changes in our schedule due to out of town guests or holidays, stopping in while we were away to take care of pets and plants, and even coming in to clean on a Saturday after a party. Plus, this is quality cleaning – not just a surface cleaning.
Furthermore, it’s clear that they really care about the wellbeing of their employees and that shows in the quality of work their team performs. For example, they provide a two week break for all their cleaners over the summer and made sure that our primary cleaner had added support while cleaning our unit leading up to and during her maternity leave.
I wish more companies were operated with the level of excellence and attention to detail that this family run business uses!

The people are very conscientious and careful about training. They have a training program that they do for all their staff before they let them go into homes. I have had 4 different service providers because I had my primary lady, and I got somebody else while she was on maternity leave, and they also came to clean a condo that I rent out. They came before and after moving in. They are fabulous, and I have recommended them to a couple of people.

They were very punctual. The first visit they walked around looked at the house. We talked what we wanted to be cleaned and not cleaned and how to be cleaned. The first time the two ladies came out it was more expensive, it was $200 for two cleaning ladies. The ladies were very friendly.

I've been very happy with their thoroughness and reliability.

They are professional. The girl that comes to clean is very thourough and does an excellent job. She stays the full time she is to be here and does not waste time. I feel she is trustworthy, as I have left money out before that was not touched. I am very pleased with their service.

Flor's has been excellent. They provide a very good housekeeper, do thorough work, and it's easy to suspend service if I go on vacation for a time.

Erika cam on time. Immediately started working and continued until completed. I have absolutely no complaints and will continue to use Flor's Cleaning Service.

Wonderful

Elvia is our regular housekeeper and does a wonderful job. She is thorough and incorporates many little touches that make our home look beautiful. When I first got the estimate, it was a fair amount more than what I'd been paying but it has been worth every penny!

We are completely satisfied by Flor's Cleaning Services. They are professional, accomodative to our requests, and the quality of their job is unsurpassed by any other we have experienced previously. Our three story townhouse is thoroughly cleaned by Angelica every other week. All the surfaces are cleaned, sofas and stairs vacuumed, and the beds are done. They take care of all the details without rushing to finish and leave. I communicate with Elliot via email and he is very responsive.

They do the standard maintenance house cleaning. I just love them. They train their employees with a checklist with all the details about house cleaning which anybody would want. They were above and beyond. They are very meticulous. They are sweet to my dog. The dog would rather stay home with the cleaning lady than go with me. I went with them because of their grading on Angie’s list.

This is a very professional business. Elliot (owner) is the consummate skilled businessperson. He described what his service would do, showed up absolutely on time on the day of our "Blizzard" with his employee, and did a walk through. Elliot's employee just did a fantastic job. She was personable, extremely efficient, and skilled. She did excellent work. Everything was done just right and she showed me exactly what she was doing. I am very impressed with Flor's and highly recommend them. Great value, great work, and most of all great people. Nicely done Flor's!

We have been using Flor's Cleaning service for about 6 months now, and are quite satisfied. At $18/hour the rate is competitive with other services we've tried. Responsiveness is the high point of the service. Elliott visited our home initially to review the situation and give us an estimate of the time it would require. Because he knew we were somewhat price-sensitive, this was originally set at the 3-hour minimum, which would be just fine for most people for this size place. He accompanied the worker on her first visit to review our specifications and introduce her to us, and followed up afterward to ask how it went. In a 3-hour visit, she did a great job cleaning the main points (kitchen, bath, floors, rugs, making the bed, dusting, even folding the laundry). We have occasionally asked to have her clean the refrigerator or oven, and the standard addition for these things is an hour. More recently we specified some additional tasks we want done regularly (such as removing items stored under the bed and vacuuming there, cleaning of the cabinets' insides) and our regular visit is now set at four hours to accommodate those things. We told Elliott we were willing to spend the extra money to have some of our pickier needs satisfied. The worker uses our supplies, which is a good way to make sure the special surfaces get the right attention, and leaves us a note when something needs to be replaced. This service is quite busy, but worth being on their waiting list a while if that's what it takes to get them.

They should have only taken 2 hrs for this job but took 4 hrs and still was not completely finished. We spoke to them about this and they did refund us completely for the job.

For years, I refused to hire a cleaning service because I was convinced nobody would do as good a job as I do myself (I probably was overestimating my wonderful cleaning abilities, but anyway...) Last year, though, I finally realized that any regular cleaning would be an improvement over my effort every couple of months. Well, I feel like I really lucked out finding Flor's. Elliot, who runs the company, is terrific. He came here for the first visit in order to make sure he understood (and could explain to Isabel) exactly what I wanted done. Since then, he's been extremely responsive to any emails or phone calls I've sent about rescheduling or any other issues. Isbael, who actually handles the cleaning, does SO much better than I ever did on my own. She works very hard while she's here and is incredibly thorough, doing my hardwood floors each time with Murphy's, vacuuming all my furniture, dusting, vacuuming carpets, cleaning stainless steel applicances, etc. Although she doesn't really speak English, and I unfortunately don't speak Spanish, it's worked just fine for me to communicate through Elliot. I trust them with keys to my place and my alarm code. I think their prices (approximately $18 per hour) are unusually reasonable and, truth be told, probably below market - I would expect and would actually be willing to pay more like $23-25 per hour for this level of service (although I do add a gratuity to every charge, which brings the total cost up a bit.) This experience, for me, is an example of how I've gotten my money's worth from Angie's List - I chose them because they were so highly rated and because of the comments other members made about their responsiveness, thoroughness, etc., and I haven't been disappointed.

Very well. The same person comes to clean my house each time, which makes me feel comfortable. She is punctual, professional, asks questions right away if necessary and the place looks great when she is done. I definitely recommend them.

They arrived on time and worked the entire time. It was a very good experience. I have had cleaning people for years but I just couldn't take the poor job they were doing. I joined Angie's List to find someone and I am glad I did. I wish I had done it sooner.

Elliott responded to an email inquiry sent late at night the next morning and provided a good overview of services included in a move-in cleaning, along with an initial estimate. He arrived with two cleaning staff promptly as scheduled and revised the estimate upwards, based on the high number of windows in the unit. I left and when I came back almost 5 hours later, a third woman had joined the team (Flor herself) and all were hard at work in the kitchen. I don't know how long Flor was there helping/supervising, but I did not get charged for her time, only for the 2 original cleaning staff. The apartment was left clean and sparkling with all requested items completed. Flor encouraged me to look around before they left to see if anything needed touching up - it didn't seem to, although after moving in I realized they had not cleaned under the refrigerator, stove, or clawfoot tub. But, the apartment looked great and most of the cat hair (to which I'm allergic) was gone. I was invoiced for the amount of time estimated by Elliott, even though it seemed that more time was put in due to the 3 person team at the end. Good service!

We needed post-construction cleaning as soon as our contractors left. I had reserved a Friday with Elliot, but we found out on Monday of that week that they would be done at the end of the day on Tuesday. When I called Elliot he worked with me to make sure there were 2 people available to start first thing Wednesday, even though it was such short notice. He arrived and surveyed the whole house, asking many very detailed questions about what needed to be cleaned. It was very helpful, because in every case he explained how much time (and therefore money) each item (such as blind cleaning) would add to the total job. In addition, he came back mid-day to see how the job was going. He and I walked around the house to ensure things had been cleaned to my satisfaction. When we discovered an area that looked like it wasn't cleaned well, he asked his employee what happened, they offered a very good explanation, and they went over the area again.

My wife, Cathy also met with Elliot and Nina the day of the cleaning . My wife, Cathy is an incredible person but when it comes to house cleaning she a a driven _ _ _ _H. That is why I like working at my job on cleaning day. Cathy was impressed with both individuals from Flors. Nina is not only very competent and thorough at her profession she gave Cathy valuable cleaning tips that will make our place look good when we do the work ourselves using less expensive cleaning supplies. I think the main concern most have with a service is: the trustworthiness of the company and being comfortable having the person performing the job competently in your home cleaning whether your home or not. We have only used them once but plan to use them again...perhaps more frequent if possible, The cost 2 x monthly = $96.00 versus monthly at $105.00 Oh BTW, her finished work was SUPERB!

Elliot (from Flor's) came upstairs with the lady who would do the cleaning. We walked around the apartment & I showed them what I would like done. Then, while Lupita started working, Elliot sat down with me & went over how the company worked. The number of hours that day would be higher as it needed more cleaning, but less time would be needed in 2 weeks & therefore, at that time, the charge would be less. When the girl finished working, my house sparkled & I could not have been more pleased. The company is up front on everything - cost, supplies (mine or their's) & the person to do the cleaning. There was not one thing I could fault. I will definitely use them again & will recommend them to everyone I know. A very pleased new customer, Roberta Greenberg
