"It's rare when you get a provider that checks all the boxes. Diana was extremely responsive. She calls/texts/emails you back quickly with thorough responses to your questions. The crew, Frank and Shorts came out on time and did a great job. They were professional and personable. When I made a mistake on choosing the color for the garage floor apron they came out at no extra fee and prepped/applied the new tint. They did this even though Diana suggested the correct color in the first place. Oh, and the price was very competitive. All and all I would strongly recommend them!"

"Good experience with these folks. Rating would be 5.0 across the board, but first application had many bubbles in it. A rep came out immediately to inspect and within 2-3 days another crew came out and lightly sanded and re-coated the floor at no charge. So, great follow up and strong customer service. I would use them again."

"Recently bought a house and wanted to turn my garage into a multipurpose room. I wanted lasting garage coating. When working with Santiago’s Magic Epoxy, the staff made recommendations on what would look best based on my needs. They were knowledgeable and I am extremely pleased with my new epoxy garage floor. In addition to knowledgeable, they were professional and easy to work with. I have received many compliments from family and friends. As I continue to remodel my home, I will be sure to use them for my basement floor and kitchen countertops."

"The GarageExperts did an outstanding job coating my very old basement floor. I am not sure exactly how old it is but it was in very bad condition and now it looks amazing. Dave DeMolinara and his team will not compromise for anything but perfection. My wife and I are thrilled with the results the only problem now is trying to make the rest of the basement look as good as the floor."

Customers say: Super punctual

"La Mantia did a great job of pouring the concrete slab for my shed project. Even though this was a small project, La Mantia agreed to accommodate me and treated it with the same care as if it were a large commercial site. The service was prompt, courteous and professional. Great communication along the way as I was out of town during the construction. Couldn't be happier with this contractor."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

How do I epoxy a garage floor?

To epoxy a garage floor, you need to measure the area of the floor, remove all items from the garage, thoroughly clean the floor, and then follow the manufacturer’s instructions to mix and apply the epoxy. Learning how to epoxy a garage floor can save you between $4 and $7 per square foot on labor.

Driveway installation is challenging. While chip seal might sound easier to apply than asphalt, the process still involves heavy machinery and professional skills. Unless you come from a construction background, we recommend hiring an asphalt company to chip seal your new driveway. If you are paving the driveway entirely with chip seal, expect to pay $5 to $10 per square foot.

Evenly wetting a wood floor before applying a stain is called water popping. It raises the grain and opens the wood’s pores to absorb more stain. When done properly, it can make the stain look darker and deeper. However, it’s important to evenly wet the floor and let it dry before applying the stain.

If your concrete stains are green in color, it indicates the presence of mold or algae—which you should address right away. If left unattended, mold will spread to other areas throughout the home. However, be careful not to disturb mold on indoor concrete surfaces and work with a local mold remediation specialist for specialized care. Once free from mold and algae, seal your concrete to eliminate pores and gaps.

While you shouldn’t use thinset mortar on its own as a floor leveler, it can work alongside other products to help level floors. For instance, you could start with a self-leveling compound, let that dry, then apply backer board with thinset mortar to help fully even out the floors ahead of laying tile.
