"Didnâ t have any plans to get plaster work done. Called Daryl out, from a recommendation of a friend, to give me a bid. The walls were pretty poorly hung(big gaps from new gypsum board being hung) to be honest. Daryl gave me a great price and told me itâ s going to look brand new. Sure enough at the end it looks incredible. Iâ d highly recommend to anyone I know. Easy to communicate with, on time, professional. And from here on out I know Iâ m going plaster finishes when I have the option!!"

"The interaction with lady who initially took my call and scheduled was great, everytime I spoke to her she was kind and informative. I explained my situations and she even repeated them back and scheduled me. The gentleman who came out was not very kind. 3 members of the family dealt directly with him and we all had a sense of him being rude and rushed. When he had to be called back out he explained he was not told about part of the job that I discussed with the lady initially (I went ahead and had to fix that part myself) and he even acted mad that he had to come back out. So sad because I did really like the lady I had my first impression with."

"Steve did a great job at a reasonable price. He is professional, skilled and friendly. We'd had parts of walls and ceilings ripped out on 2 floors when our cast iron stack pipe broke. He replaced drywall, cut and replaced wood trim, baseboards, and wood paneling at the bottom half of one wall. Then he primed and painted. And, he cleaned up when done. We will definitely hire Steve for future jobs. Mary Thurmond"

"Leon and his team are the hardest working landscapers in the business! Leon provided ideas on design and always coordinated by showing pictures of the plants and stones before purchasing. We requested the work be done ASAP and his team delivered over the course of 3+ days, taking down 5 trees, yanking out ivy and weeds, building a bed and wall across the entire front of our house, adding dirt and mulch, planting new bushes and transplanting 2 more. His team also prepped and sodded a large section in front of the new beds. They met our ambitious deadline by a large margin. Highly recommend. We'll be doing more business in the future."

"I highly recommend Kenneth. He arrived right on time, was professional and very pleasant to work with, and did an excellent job assembling our rocking chairs and small table. He worked efficiently, kept everything neat and organized, and made the whole process easy from start to finish. Quality work, dependable, and genuinely nice—would absolutely hire him again."

"D Amaya did a fantastic job of replacing my old fence. Very professional and careful working around my flower garden. Cleanup was immaculate. It took them 6 hours to remove old fence and posts and install about 100’ of new fencing. Highly recommend them for fence replacement. I’m very pleased with the finished product"

Customers say: True professional

"No matter what problem you have, Clint is the man for the job! He not only fixed the plumbing issues I discovered during a remodel but was able to fix the electrical issues, flooring problems, install the cabinets, cut and grout backsplash tile, and fix a handful of minor issues that came up along the way. Clint is on time, dependable, courteous and respectful of your property - he even cleans up afterwards! I could not have completed this project without Clint Hatcher and highly recommend him to anyone who needs work done - you will not be disappointed!!"

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

If you've decided you'd like to skip the cost of restoring a brick exterior wall after considering whether you should repair or replace brick on your house, you can consider installing fiber cement siding over brick for a cost of $2 to $6 per square foot. When done properly, cement siding over brick offers a durable, low-maintenance option that can actually reduce your home's energy costs. It's also attractive. However, improper installation or installation over heavily compromised brick can cause water damage.

Yes, to build a retaining wall, a permit is required. Similarly, any repairs or modifications to an existing retaining wall require permits. If the planned wall measures higher than 4 feet, most municipalities require designs and permits come through a licensed engineer. In some locations, if the wall is shorter than 4 feet, a permit may not be required. For the requirements in your area, contact your local government.

Costs depend on material type, labor rates, and additional features like decorative finishes or reinforcement.

Failure to compact the soil during construction is the most common cause of leaning retaining walls. In addition, poor drainage can lead to excessive water pressure behind a retaining wall, pushing against it until it begins to move forward away from the soil it is holding back.

Railroad ties can be good for retaining walls, but it depends on the area. They have a desirable rustic look and are durable. The problem is they’re treated with creosote, a preservative the EPA says poses a risk to humans and wildlife. Over time, the preservative seeps out of the wood and into the ground. Many areas have banned the use of creosote-treated wood on residential properties. If your area does allow it, never use railroad ties near an edible garden or drinking water source. Instead, use wood that’s treated with an EPA-approved preservative or a wood-alternative composite material.
