"While it took quite a lot of effort on our part to finalize the colors, pattern, etc, once scheduled, the crew promptly showed up every morning on the job, worked with the village inspector to ensure the base and landing step construction met local codes and best practices (village required a deeper base than originally laid by the crew).  They worked quickly and with as little disruption and as cleanly as can be expected.  
After the first winter, there was some settling along the house due to filling in a window well done by another contractor.  I called Maria and she came out, took a look, and sent her crew out to re-lay the area and backfill to make things right at no additional cost.
Overall, we are very happy with the end product and would recommend working with Maria and crew as long as you have a pretty decent idea of what you want in terms of design.

The job required some additional parts that he needed to purchase locally, then he returned to complete the job. He also updated the conduit and wiring for the electric water heater, a light fixture, and a related light switch for no additional charge. "Diaz Group was an outstanding service.  I had three different landscaping companies come out to give us estimates and opinions about our backyard, which was a mess.  Of the three, Diaz Group was the only one who arrived on time, which is important to me.  Additionally, Rafael was very friendly and gave me his honest opinion of the work.  He wasn't just there to give me a quick estimate and go, he was invested in the direction we wanted to take our yard and offered his professional advice.  I received a quote shortly after he left.  Of the three they were somewhere in the middle, so I would rate them as a competitive option pricing wise.
I was very impressed by the estimate meeting, but I was blown away by the actual work.  Due to weather we had to start a day or two late but they were very prompt in letting me know of the delay.  On the service date the team arrived on time and incredibly had the work done in around six hours.  They left no mess behind and let me spot check the lawn with them to make sure they didn't miss anything I wanted done.
We are now a month in and our lawn is the envy of the neighborhood.  Instead of having an ugly back yard that I am afraid to show I can now have people over with pride.  The sod has held brilliantly and everything looks great.   I still can't believe these guys could craft such a beautiful lawn from the pit that it was before. 
I will go no where else but Diaz Group for my future landscaping needs.
