"Mansour Handyman services did an excellent job. They were hired to remove old cabinetry and prepare the walls and floor for the install of new cabinets. They then came back to finalize the kitchen update by installing appliances, patching walls and ceiling and installing the backsplash kitchen tile. The service was professional and reasonable priced. They arrived when promised and cleaned up after their work. I was very happy with the results."

"I hired Frank from Small Jobs and he was extremely knowledgeable , friendly and efficient. He assembled an elliptical bike for me and did an amazing job! I spoke to several other handymen prior to speaking with Frank and they were extremely rude and arrogant. While speaking to Frank I knew he was the right person. His professionalism and demeanor sealed the deal."

Handyman Services questions, answered by experts

While a handyperson will do the odd small job for your home, a maintenance person is responsible for conducting regular inspections and repairs. Maintenance people may come in to do small fixes and diagnose any issues you might be facing, but may not have all the same technical abilities as a handyperson.

Using a pro guarantees correct tools and expertise, preventing potential household mishaps.

A handyperson can perform a wide variety of home improvement and repair projects. Common jobs include painting, cleaning gutters, assembling new furniture, and replacing fixtures like cabinets or lights. They can also handle more complex tasks such as installing a dishwasher, fixing minor plumbing leaks, refinishing wood floors, and replacing doors. Generally, a handyperson is ideal for any project that does not require a specific license or certification, such as those related to major plumbing, electrical, or structural work, which should be handled by a licensed tradesperson.

Yes, you can use a dremel tool to cut plexiglass. Follow the instructions under “How to Cut Plexiglass with a Saw,” and use a dremel tool with a 561 bit instead of a saw.
