We had contracted Matrix in February to finish our basement, our salesman did a very good job taking the time to lay everything out give us our options and meet our vision the follow-up appointment to finalize went well and the gentleman really had a good knowledge of everything that needed to be done. The biggest problem we had was with the project manager and some of the trades that were brought in. The framers and finish carpenters did a wonderful job however the failures were many and project management was substandard for spending over six figures on a project. The damage that was caused to the finished portion of our house, walls, door jams garage door frame and other building errors that were made on electrical and plumbing were not addressed or handled appropriately unless I had said something to our project manager . Even then they just ignored my request and I had to pay my own painter to fix the damages that Matrix caused . The overall mismanagement of the project is what brought me to the point where I had to be the intermediary for the trades as the project manager was never on site or didn't pick up or return calls in any sort of Timely manner. This is what I am paying Matrix to handle and clearly that fell short! They framed the tub incorrectly leaving gaps where the wall studs didn't get to the ceiling, electrical switch boxes that were not secured so when the spray foam was installed and pushed the box out of the way causing repairs needed to be made, the plumber installed the wrong color drain and glued it in place they're causing an issue where if they tried to remove it and snapped the pipe under the tub they would have to gut the bathroom again and we were on a tight timeline as we were getting married the week after the project was supposed to be completed. When they sprayed our ceiling the painter left four five gallon buckets uncovered in the basement causing the house to smell to the point where it was 90° outside and we had to leave all our windows open oh yes and by the way had we not covered them up after they left they would have had to buy all new materials. When the spray foam portion of the project was to take place we were told to have nobody in the home so we put the dogs in a kennel they were supposed to be there at 8:00 a.m. they did not show up till 3:45 p.m. not getting completed till almost 9:00. "I’ve always wanted a second bathroom. I contacted JK Complete R&C. Jack came to my home and assessed the would be project. Jack gave me a reasonable price, start and proposed finish date. Then I met the crew John, Mike and Ziggy. We had a great relationship. Everything that was to be accomplished was explained to me on a daily bases. By the end of the project we had a bond and it felt like family. I also learned quite a bit in the process. I am total fascinated with my new bathroom. I have already recommended JK Complete to family members."

"Brandon and his team truly transformed our property, providing us with the outdoor space we've always dreamed of. After meeting with 10+ contractors in the Burr Ridge area, we chose BSC Landscaping and could not be happier with him and his team. We bought our home primarily due to the lot which features mature trees, hills, and a creek passing through. These features required a team that could navigate the complexity of building with water runoff, preservation, and a balance between nature and hardscaping in mind. They absolutely nailed it! BSC installed a paver patio, replaced an old swail with a natural-looking boulder and cobblestone creek bed, cleared overgrown weeds, installed trees, and seeded large areas to expand our lawn to gain more space for kids to play. We just hired them again to redesign our front yard which includes a paver parking space and the installation of a property border featuring a range of plants and trees. "What can I say about Dan and crew? If there were six stars, I would have given them all of those! Our powder room job was also flooring for the hallway and laundry room, plus a utility sink. It was a total gut job in the bathroom. Dan could not have been nicer, quoted us a more than fair price and the job was finished in record time. He was very responsive to any questions we had (ok mostly me). Also, his workers (2) were fantastic. I'm not sure if I should name them, so I won't. They were efficient and professional, asked questions when needed and cleaned up the site and their work space (our garage) every single day. They treated our home with care, as well as our old appliances and new fixtures. We could not have been happier with all of it."
