I purchased new granite countertops from Ultimate Stone through Angie's list 3 years ago and had them installed in my kitchen. To my shock and dismay, the granite has CRACKED clear through and chipped! I called and sent photos to Ultimate Stone for weeks before I got a call back. Finally, the company president made an appointment to visit my home on a specified date, with a 3-hour window, to look at the problem. I took time off work for this and waited the 3 hours, BUT HE DIDN'T SHOW UP and hasn't returned my follow-up calls, either. I don't know what to do. These granite countertops cost me a LOT. I paid quite a bit more than the original deal because I needed additional countertops made. I had planned to put up my home for sale in the near future, but I can't do this with a big crack in the kitchen counter like this. I dealt with both Ultimate Stone and Angie's List in good faith, and I'm afraid I cannot recommend either at this point.

Ultimate Stone went beyond all my expectations while helping me address a very particular need in my kitchen. I was so frustrated that literally a dozen companies before them had refused to provide me quote because it was a “ small job”. They not only resolved my countertop need, but also found someone willing to perform the cabinet job ( Adam Handyman Inc - Ver professional as well). These guys are consumer oriented and focus on long-term. I will definitely keep them in mind for larger projects in the near future and recommend to friends whenever I have the a chance.

The work was completed and looks nice, just as I expected. I know this countertop has a crack in it. The edge problem is something I have to maintain, which was what the service call was for. The reason I gave a C for professionalism is because the repairman tried to tell me I needed a whole new countertop because this was going to continue to happen and that the repair wouldn't work. He even made me talk to his manager to try to convince me to get a whole new counter, I know this edge will have to be repaired from time to time. This isn't the first repair job. But, overall the countertop is fine and if I ask for a repair, send the company photos of the problem and they come out to repair it, then that is all that should be discussed. After completing the work, I thanked the repairman and complemented his work, to which he scoffed and shrugged. I respect a person who wants to do high quality work, which I thought the repair job was done well. I just don't think the repairman needs to make the customer feel bad for getting something repaired instead of replaced.

I chose this company because of all the stellar reviews I saw on Angie's List and I was not disappointed. I am thrilled with the results. My marble sparkles like new, actually better than new, because the marble work in my first bathroom was far from perfect (smudges of grout left on floor, hairline cracks on counter). That and mistakes by housekeeper (harsh cleaner on bottom of bottle) left lots of etching on counter. They sanded out chips and cracks, so that you cannot see or feel. The cracks just look like veins in the stone. There are no more etchings. They were able to to address and solve every issue. It seemed like a miracle to me. Everything came out better than I dared to hope. My husband exclaimed that these workers are artists. Now the problem is that I don't want anyone else except us to clean the bathrooms. Marble is just too delicate. At least it's good to know that a top company like this one can truly restore the marble to its original beauty. I did not know that was possible. I will say that the service is quite pricey, but the guys (Vladim and Andrew) were there all day and the results are so great, I did not mind paying.

We recently bought a home and wanted to remove the existing Corian and replace it with granite. My parents had a bad experience with the granite company they used, so we turned to Angie's List to find a company with strong reviews. We came across Ultimate Stone and were impressed! Based on the number of positive reviews they had, we knew we found which company to do business with. Upon entering Ultimate Stone, we were warmly greeted by Ivonka who is kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Ultimate Stone has a huge selection of stone choices, and after filling out a form indicating what we wanted done in our home, etc., we then proceeded to the warehouse that contained the various stone pieces to choose from. Ivonka took her time to help us and guide us through the process, which was a bit time-consuming and overwhelming because there is so much to look at and choose from; however, she helped to simplify the process because of her willingness to go above and beyond to serve us. Ivonka truly cares about making her customers happy, and her goal is ultimate satisfaction. About a week later, a technician came out to our home to take measurements, and then about a week after that, another appointment consisted of the actual granite installation. As someone who has high standards, I can say with absolute certainty that Ultimate Stone is THE place for your countertop needs. Thank you, Ivonka, for a wonderful shopping experience. We will continue to tell all our family and friends about Ultimate Stone because it is truly outstanding!

We had visited Ultimate Stone in April. Ivonka Koleda was very helpful and provided quotes on four different quartz countertops. After visiting several other quartz supply and installation vendors, we decided on one of the options provided by Ultimate Stone and contacted Ivonka in July for a measurement. The measurements were done July 17 and the countertops installed July 28th. Alex led the installation and the job was done in about an hour. The countertops, including the undermount sink, look beautiful and fit beautifully in the kitchen. We are so pleased with the way this job turned out. I highly recommend this company.

Ultimate was very competitive on the price and were very pleasant to work with. They have a nice showroom and work with local stone providers if they don't have what you need in stock. They installed on the day they said they would. I needed an extra piece after installing our stove as there was a gap between it and the back splash. They didn't charge me to fabricate the extra piece and only $150 to install, very fair.

They did a great job and worked with challenging plans to make granite slab installations up multiple flights of stairs where an oversize, large, seamless stone makes a huge impact on the look and impression of the kitchen as a whole. Thanks Ultimate Stone.

Got my kitchen countertops done and they look amazing! Great experience from scheduling the appointment down to the install! I only paid $150 additional to have the existing countertops removed.

Very good man. They were very good. We were very happy. We bought another one and it was a little more but not much. When we had the second one he measured it out and I'm not sure what the price was. He just charged us as if it was an initial purchase so it was very fair. It took a while. It wasn't all day. It was a timely basis. 2 people came out. They were professional. We went up to their showroom and they really tried to go over and above cutting the granite. They did a very good job.

Everyone was very easy to deal with. The man who came to measure for the counter tops was very professional as were the installers. They arrived when they said they would and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards.

very disappoint with the overall services: 2 sinks were not mount properly coz it's not aligned with the faucet hole, count top edge is not smoothed to hand touch, cauk is not cleaned properly and I have to use utility knife to clean it myself afterwards. Further more, they redo the edge for me due to a communication issue at the cost of $300 but it's even not align with my wall, with the picture is showing the huge gap. Suggest you find another vendor if you are serious about your project.

Over the past 16 years in business I've never once already known in the middle of a job I was never going to be able to make someone happy with the job we have done. You worked with our Design Team for 2 hours doing layouts which were approved and signed by you, please see signed form attached. ( waiting for Angie's List to let me upload it ) I will be happy to share it with Angie's List members; everything you wanted was installed and looked beautiful. Please see our install photos. Unfortunately you decided at install after we completed everything that you did not like something in the stone anymore, or your neighbor didn't like it, I'm not sure why the sudden change of heart. I personally talked to you and you agreed that we did everything how you wanted but you don't like it now. I agreed to take it back to the shop, finish edges the opposite sides of stone at no cost to you, ( I have signed invoice by me and you that it was at no charge, not $300 like you claim) try to be sure you are more than satisfied with our work, after that you decided to install it yourself because $75 was too much for you to pay for our guys to comeback to install it for a second time because you changed your mind. Then you came by our office and waited in the car for over an hour, refusing to come in and pay for job. The picture you added on Angie's list is picture of top you installed yourself because you opted to do it, our picture of original install will be attached if Angie's List allows it, as you see there is no gap. Also you had no issues with install, sink cutouts any holes or silicone until you decided to write this unfair fake review. Why do you think its ok lie to people and write fake reviews, this is slander and not okay. I'm sorry you feel this is fair and just but I cannot stand by and allow someone to drag our company that we take great pride in our work and reputation for you to say whatever you think, and not one thing is the truth. After significant amount of time back and forth, cost on our end of this job, it's sad, I suppose no matter how hard you try to make someone happy there's a chance they won't be, I guarantee 110% always my clients will be happy with our entire process, selection, quoting, measure, fabrication, and installation. From the minute we walked in the door Kamila started what can only be described as exceptional service. Always kept us in the loop as to appointments, delivery and followed up after installation. Every part of this transaction was smooth. Installers took great care of my home, covered hardwood floors, carefully brought in these extremely heavy counters an gently places them in position. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

The staff was extremely responsive once we got in contact with them. Initially after the purchase we were supposed to get an email or phone call from them, but we did not. I called a week after the purchase was made and they stated they received notice from Angie's List that there was a purchase order but none of the contact information came through. They apologized and from then on were very responsive. There was some confusion on my end of what the type of granite was, but they were extremely helpful and got us exactly what we wanted. The staff was quick and professional and so far the counter tops are holding up great!

It went well, they were running a little behind due to rain but called to inform me which is great so your not left wondering. They knew what they were doing, got it installed quickly and cleaned up after. I would recommend and use again.

The team was very professional, seemed a bit pricey for the work done but otherwise they did a good job. The cracks were filled in with black material that is visible when you look at it, but when you glance past it its not noticeable.
