    We contacted Modern Quality Flooring and a couple of other providers that we found on Angie's List. After getting proposals from all 3 providers, we decided to have Modern Quality Flooring refinish our kitchen floors based on the owner, Danny's, professionalism and experience. Work was scheduled and began and ended on time with no negative surprises. On the positive side, Danny's workers diligently sanded the floor with dust free sanders and covered everything in plastic leaving no cleanup for me after completion - either in the kitchen or elsewhere in the house.     I would highly recommend Danny and his team. They removed carpeting and refinished the hardwood floors in the house that my wife and I bought. Danny and his team showed up early on the day work started, put down a few sample stains so that I could choose one, were very responsive throughout the process, and finished on time. And he is honest. I was considering replacing a few floor boards in one of the bedrooms because there were some gaps in the wood. Danny said he would replace them if I wanted to, which would have increased the price of the project a fair amount with the price of wood. But he recommended against it, saying he thought he could use wood filler and it wouldn’t be noticeable, and he was right. How’s that for trustworthiness?     This is a follow up to my earlier review when Adrian refinished half of my first floor and put in new flooring and matched the stain for the balance of the floor in the Fall of 2020. I wanted to replace the carpet on the second floor with carpet but Adrian did such a fabulous job for the first floor that my wife wanted to see if it made sense to go with hard wood again. My biggest concern was the time and the dust as we continued living in the house. Adrian had already addressed the concern about dust when he redid the first floor and I was amazed with the little amount of dust his super high end machines emitted. He promised me to try and get the job done in a week. Needless to say, he delivered with flying colors. I have already detailed my experience with him in my earlier review (he is a “craftsman” who takes pride in his work and doesn’t try to cut corners). He doubled up the crew the first couple of days to remove the carpet, the prep and installing new wood and finished the job in under a week. The floor looks fabulous.     Klis flooring was referred to me by my sister. Have rental property, the living room floor was in bad condition (some boards had water damage and a few spots had dark stains) the bedroom was ok. Jack, the owner, assessed the situation and recommended what needed to be done. When the job was done, I couldn’t believe how beautiful the floors looked.
