"If I could rate a 0, I would. The salesman that came to my house made many promises and created a contract with the work that we discussed. After that, a consultant came to take more measurements, and stated that he was concerned with some of the items in the contract, and advised that the new faucets that we had discussed for the shower and tub could not actually be replaced within the quoted amount, and I would need to instead choose options of the same brand as the existing faucets (with were both different brands). A couple weeks later, yet another consultant came for what I was told were more measurements. This time, I was informed that both the salesperson (who they stated was no longer with the company) and the first consultant had provided me incorrect information, and in order to change the faucets, I would need to pay over a thousand more to have the valves changed out, and also that the subway tile for the shower that was in the contract could not be completed as quoted, and I would instead need to replace the entire shower unit for yet thousands more. He advised the only thing they could do at this point was to cancel their contract and refund me in full, since the salesperson also had required payment in full at the consultation. After many texts and unanswered called, I finally got a refund about a week later. This company is awful, and I would not recommend to anyone. I don't understand how it is legal to have a customer sign a contract and pay up front for work that they later attempt to extort more money for and are not able to complete in the first place."

"OH MY GOD! This company is beyond amazing. We were in the market to get our cabinets refaced and let me tell you, this company blew us out of the water on so many levels! For starters, we looked at a couple big box retailers and their prices were extremely high so when we met with the owner Dennis, we were skeptical. Once he gave us the price, I felt like it was too good to be true. His price was 40% cheaper than the big box stores and this was getting everything we wanted from Dennis. Dennis was one of the most professional people I have ever had the pleasure with dealing with. He was always on time, extremely professional and honesty. The person who worked on out cabinets was Joe. Let me tell you, this man is an artist! His attention to detail on the cabinets was amazing. I feel like they have revived our kitchen and our house. "Ill keep this as short as i can, which isn't short given the multitude of screw ups on Tigers part. Overall the turn time was good and setting the appointment was easy, however the experience left ALOT to be desired. The initial person who took my call did not properly record the issue as described resulting in the first tech being unprepared to resolve the issue and a subsequent visit from an advisor. The advisor drew up several service offerings and made a few recommendations for upgrades and enhancements to our existing system, including pointing out a possible safety issue. As part of that she made mention that they would have to remove a small portion of dry wall in the upstairs laundry closet to complete the flexible duct work which we agreed to. She scheduled the appointment for the work to be completed monday (it could have been done friday had the first call taker properly recorded the issue). The technician that showed up on monday was friendly enough however was unprepared to complete the work. Instead of a small hole in my laundry closet the duct work resulted in a hole in my kitchen ceiling spanning half the width of the kitchen, way more intrusive than what the advisor had set us up for. The technician also asked for my assistance multiple times, including to help pull duct work, which if im paying for a service, why do i have to help perform the service? The technician was also unprepared to clean up after himself as he needed to borrow my shop vac, paper towels, and cleaning spray. I guess his shop vac had been damaged on a previous job (again why am i paying you?). The technician also failed to perform all of the work that was paid for days in advance, more specifically they did not cap off the open flue from an old furnace which is a service that had been prepaid with the advisor. When asked about this the technician said he did not have the part, but if he came across one would "drop it off". After realizing this tiger was called requesting a refund for the unperformed work, at which point we were told "it could take up to a week for the supervisor to contact you to process that". Really? Your supervisors are too busy to ensure customer satisfaction in a timely manner, but you sure can come take someones money in less than 48 hours no problem.... I would not recommend them to anyone and definitely will not be using them again for anything. Attached is a picture of the small hole i was told would be left in my laundry closet. Please not that by laundry closet it ended up being kitchen ceiling, and by small hole, it was halfway across the kitchen."

When buying caulk, look for ones labeled for tub and tile. These have either acrylic latex or silicone compounds. This allows the caulk to stick to smooth surfaces and prevent mildew from forming. 

Two alternatives to reglazing are installing a bathtub inlay or a bathtub liner. An inlay is a low-priced mat that adheres to the bottom of a bathtub or shower. It’s useful for sealing minor leaks and concealing damage on the bottom of a tub. On the other hand, a bathtub liner is essentially a protective casing that goes over the entire tub. They are usually custom-fit and cost more than reglazing yet don’t last as long.

Resurfacing a tub is worth it if there are just a few dings, scratches, or chips. Expect to pay about $330 to $630 to refinish a tub. You can restore your tub to looking brand new for less money than replacing the tub. But you're better off replacing old bathtubs with heavy damage, mold, or other major issues.

When it comes to cleaning bathrooms, bleach usually comes to mind. But like ammonia, bleach can damage acrylic tubs. In fact, many tub manufacturers warn against using bleach on acrylic bathtubs, and doing so could void the warranty on your tub. Again, a gentler cleaner specifically made for acrylic tubs, or one of the homemade methods listed above, is your better bet here.

If your Corian® countertop begins to appear dull or dirty, or you notice scratches on the surface, you can return it to its original finish while maintaining its look. To do this, repair any scratches with a repair compound and sand the surface after it dries. 

Then, use an orbital sander with either a 100-, 30-, or 15-micron disc and finish with a hand pad (like Scotch-Brite™ 7447 or 7448) or lamb’s wool bonnet and automotive cutting compound for a matte, semi-gloss, or gloss-finish, respectively.
