"We are extremely pleased with every aspect of the painting of our home. Juan is a perfectionist and he made sure his team did the best job. They were all hard working, very polite, didn't rush, and went above and beyond to be sure everything was to our liking. They even offered some great ideas and suggestions to help make our house look fantastic! We have a big cedar home with 9 doors. And a big cedar fence along with our garage door. It was a big job and we are very impressed with how well it went and turned out. I highly recommend this company. You will not be sorry. We will be contacting them again to do some interior painting."

"Mr Ocegueda was very pleasant and hard working. We booked him last Fall so he could do Spring painting for us. We have already asked him to patch and paint our living room. We were very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.

Think hard before deciding to German schmear your home’s exterior brickwork. If you do not like the look, you are pretty much stuck with it, as it is impossible to remove this finish the way you can remove paint. You risk damaging the underlying brick if you have to chisel and acid-wash it away. It will also take a very long time, and remnants of the mortar wash will always remain.

The easiest way to remove window decals is to soak the area in hot, soapy water. Let it sit for 15 minutes before scraping it with a plastic scraper or the edge of a credit card. You can also remove window decals with white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or applying heat from a hairdryer or steam cleaner.

You can remove powder coating with a chemical stripper, in a burn-off oven, or by sandblasting. Chemical strippers can remove most powder coatings in 20 minutes or less. But they are harsh and must be treated with care.
