"Great! They were unable to get all the way to the street from the catch basin. It was suggested I add a sewer clean out assure all the roots were gone and make it easier for future cleaning. This was suggested in the past, by another company , but the cost was out of sight. This company was very fair in price for both the cleaning (which included the inspection with the camera) and for the clean out installation."

"They had great customer service. They came over in the 2 hour window given. They called before arrival or that they were on their way. The only concern I had was that they were going to leave the tree roots on my front lawn but I brought out the garbage can for them to dispose."

"It turned out that the ejector pump was OK, but the switch that controlled automatic discharge of the pump was not working. The estimate to do the work was quite high. ($653.00). Here's how it broke down: [1] Parts: (the switch): $193.27, [2] Labor: Remove Ejector pump from basin, install new switch, and then seal basin back up. Note: it took the plumber less than 1 hour to do this job. So he charged us $459.73 an hour for labor! This company must have neurosurgeons moonlighting as plumbers. We only agreed to this flat rate due to the emergency situation of water flowing into our basement when we did the laundry or flushed the toilet downstairs. Lesson learned: never hire a plumbing company that does their work for flat fees. The technician Steve was certainly knowledgeable and efficient, but his services do not warrant $460 an hour! This job should have only cost us about $400 at the most, not the $653 charged. I suggest that you do not use this company unless you don't mind spending a lot more money than you need to. To provide context, we completely replaced our ejector pump a few years ago and the cost was $500. Caveat emptor."

Installation crew was prompt, very courteous and their installation was skilled. Crew had to move both washer and dryer in order to gain access to sump pit. Cleanup was very thorough and without any complaints. Would do business with this company again and recommend them to anyone."

They were very thorough and progressed through multiple steps of rodding and jetting before finally having to dig in the yard to add a cleanout to resolve my sewer issue. The entire team was contentious and intent at every step. Unfortunately, my 60+-year-old pipes needed a bit more than could be managed from inside the house. Not only were they professional and aggressive in resolving the issue, but they were also very responsive to our urgent needs and showed up when they said they would for every visit. "Our sewer line had severed where it comes out of the house. This caused our toilets to start backing up, so we placed an emergency call on a Sunday. The tech came within about an hour and diagnosed the problem with their camera inspection equipment. It was raining and the tech had to feed the camera line from the cleanout in our front yard, but he was as friendly and kind as could be. Once he had diagnosed the problem, he spent a fair amount of time getting the repairs scheduled for later that day, which involved coordinating his crew, the village, and JULIE, since they had to dig up the front yard to fix the issue. The crew arrived later that day - they were also extremely professional and extremely pleasant to deal with.
While the repairs were very expensive, I was very impressed with everyone from Black Diamond. They seemed genuinely happy to help us with our emergency, even though it meant spending a Sunday working in the rain and high humidity. Since they had to leave the hole open overnight, they were careful to cover the hole completely with plywood so that no one would accidentally
fall in.They returned early Monday morning to backfill the hole in our yard, once the village had inspected the work.
 I will definitely use these guys for any plumbing issues that I have from here on.
