The said that they would rush order it and we would have it in a month. After waiting a month and not hearing from them, we called to find out when the window would be put in and they said that they would check and get back with us. After many more calls we were told that the window wouldn't be in until July 23rd. We requested a refund and after many more calls were told that they don't give refunds. The window was finally installed on August 2nd over a week after they received it. We will never do business with them again.!"

This hack required some hand strength. First, bend the fork's tines. Next, slip the pointed ends into the door latch and close the door. Open the door to remove the fork and break off the fork's handle. Reinsert the fork's head into the door latch and close the door. You can attach the hinges to either the door or the frame first, depending on your preference. The order will not affect how the door hangs or the ease of installation. However, we recommend starting with the top hinge over the bottom one for stability, as it’s much easier to support the door from below while you install the top hinge. It will also be easier to pull the door outward from the hinges as it hangs from the top than it would be to push the door toward the hinges, as there’s less clearance on the lock side.

A prehung door comes ready to install with the door already mounted in its frame, including hinges and stop molding. Everything is factory-aligned, which makes installation quicker and more precise. It’s a smart option if your current frame is damaged or uneven, or if you’re working with a new build. Instead of hanging a door slab from scratch, you fit the entire unit into the rough opening, shim it , level it, and secure it. Prehung doors are a clean, efficient way to install new doors without having to piece everything together yourself.
