It went great. One of two springs had broken on my ~10 year old double garage door. I called Monday afternoon close to their closing time and they had it repaired by 9:30 A.M. Wednesday . They replaced both springs for a fair price and at a reasonably quick turnaround time.

I wanted to share my experience with this company. I had my garage door spring snap and contacted this company early on this Monday morning. The person that answered my call treated me very well over the phone and i was also impressed with her knowledge of both the product line that they offered and the service aspect. Her name was Lindsey. She reflects well how the company treats their customers. Withing two hours she had the service man at my residence to install new springs. His name was Terry Camp and he was also kind and didn't rush to install the springs but instead did it the correct way and made sure that the end result was a quality install. I am very picky about doing things right the first time and this man did just that along with making sure that I felt valued as a customer. I researched pricing on the install before I contacted this company and the price that I was charged was right in line to the penny for the service and quality parts they installed. Thank you Lindsey and Terry for the excellent customer service you offered me today. You have a lifelong customer and I plan to recommend your company to others in need of your service.

The salesman and installers were courteous and punctual. They did a good job, cleaned up after themselves. Answered questions. They could have been a little more informative when explaining the difference between windows, since we had never had windows replaced before. We are very happy with the work they did.

The repairman was punctual and quick with his service. He clearly knew what he was doing. The garage door works fine now and I was very impressed with the service. I plan to hire them in the future to replace some windows.

Tech did the following: replaced the cables and a roller, and then serviced it. One of the cables was frayed. Also tightened the chain.
The door operates much better than before, however it still jerks a little bit going up and down. The tech said that the opener is nearing the end of life, as it was installed in 1996. I might have entertained just having it replaced if I was home at the time, but I was at work and my wife was home during the repair. I'm not sure how much time I bought for $200, but will definitely plan on replacing it the next time it acts up.

They got here on time but played loud music in my garage all day. One of them broke a window on his truck and almost left without cleaning up the glass. He did clean it up when asked. They doors are great and everything was finished in less than six hours.

We are very happy with Crawford and Brinkman.  The biggest selling point is that C & B have in-house carpenters who do excellent work.  All the competitors I contacted use contract carpenters.  So I selected C & B because if installation did not go well, there would be no finger pointing.  This company prides itself on quality work.  Prices were competitive.  We have had our new windows and deck door for a couple of years and are very pleased.

The crew, led by Jeff Grebe, was extremely conscientious and skillful.  They did great work.  The room is entered through an opening that had housed a built-in buffet in a shallow bay.  They carefully matched the existing moulding in the dining room. They found a close match for the 20+ year old siding on the house; We love the room.
The only negative aspect of our experience was that the project took longer than we expected.  Of course, all work on an old house takes longer than expected.  Some of the delay was in getting preliminary work done so that Crawford and Brinkman could start, such as getting the gas meter and the air conditioner moved and the electrical service upgraded.  The contractor's work took less than 3 months. Given the quality of the work done, the time was well spent.

On time.  Good explanation.

Good selection of doors.  Easy to arrange for date.  Was flexible about door design.  They did not have in stock the window design we wanted, but because we had a door accident and couldn't use the door we needed a replacement right away.  They installed the door and put in a temporary panel until the window of our choice arrived.   Later they came back and replaced the panel.  We did have to call them about this though.

They came out when scheduled. Gave me an excellent product and they are very nice people and fair on price.

They appeared to not have a lot of experience with older garage doors but in the end they did complete the job.
