OMG, WILL NEVER call another contractor for a bid in Window World's area of expertise! Last week, as I was coming home from vacation, in traffic near Chicago, I received a call wanting to schedule an install date. I agreed that the following Monday would be fine. Requested an expected arrival time. was told between 8 & 9 a.m. I HAD to leave at 9:45 a.m. and did so.No-one had arrived to start siding. I put it off to bad weather. Didn't arrive home until mid-afternoon Monday. I found my 3 story home stripped of the old steel & vinyl siding AND nearly completely clad in the new insulation! The man running the crew came to my door asking if there was somewhere safe he could leave their tools etc. I was able to give them half my garage. The crew arrived shortly after 7 am.Tues. Worked until 7 pm. NON-stop! Then on Wednesday LESS THAN 3 days from starting job!!!) This crew had COMPLETED the job & was cleaning up & reloading their truck! The field supervisor was dumbfounded! The head of the crew even taught him a couple of things about siding, to make the job better with NO extra cost to homeowner! THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST! Not only did you save us thousands of dollars, but I got a top notch crew out of it! Those men on the crew were such hard-workers and so polite! I am thankful, Window World of East Peoria, was able to access and use this crew! Shoot, I'd hire the crew again if they did more than siding!

for most part good they were clean polite only complaint would be some minor caulk details nothing too bad  still in the air about window quality but I was given what I paid for

They did a fantastic job.

I contacted their sales rep who worked with me over a period of a few months to set this plan in motion.  He was very helpful, honest and attentive.  I appreciated that he didn't hound us for the sale.  Once installation day came, the team showed up on time.  They were very neat, and very very polite.  We were impressed at how efficiently this team performed together.  It was clear that they had their routine down to an art. They took out the old windows and put the new ones in a very efficient manner in the middle of January!!  They worked so diligently that our house never even cooled. The windows fit and look great.  They did a nice job of cleaning up, both inside and outside the house.  And they finished all of this in one day.  Start to finish, I believe they installed everything in 6-7 hours!  I cannot say enough good things about this whole experience.  And they charged less than half the price of their local competition!  I can't wait to recommend them to my friends and family.

Installation and price was excellent and I feel it was a true bargain. There was an issue with the sales rep, however, without even raising my concern to the company, the owner stepped in and went far above and beyond to make things right. This is a company that is expertly run by a management team that truly cares about the customer and wants to make sure anyone who buys from them is happy and satisfied. The installation crew was quick, professional, and did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves. I will need more windows in the future and will not hesitate to bring my business back to window world. Their quality of work is on par if not better than some other window services in the area that charge twice as much. Well Done Window World, and hats off to an owner that is involved and has a firm grasp on his business and what the customer wants. I couldn't be happier.

They job went well. They came on a pretty cold day and completed the work. The windows look great. They showed up on time, they are a great company to work with. I am planning on using them again.

Nice selection of finishes and colors for windows. Salesman was friendly and easy to ask questions. He provided information with out all the high pressure sales pitch. The crew that put the windows in was fast and efficient. I appreciated the wife of owner/manager also works with them. It was more comfortable having another female present rather than a bunch of men invading the house. All cleanup was performed so the job was complete. Windows look very nice, have greatly improved warmth in house. I love the fact I can open windows from the top to allow air flow without blowing papers off my desk and work area.

They were very nice and courteous. They showed up on time or early. My window and door had to be installed separately due to the door being on back order. Three people came out to install the window. They were very nice and did an excellent job. My only problem was that when the window was all torn out and there was a giant hole in my house, they were smoking like chimneys right up against the house. I don't want smoke in my house. When I asked them to smoke away from the house, they apologized profusely and moved back to smoke. Overall the window looks great. It isn't the highest quality window on the market, but I expected as much.
When they returned to install my storm door they showed up an hour and 15 minutes early. I really wished they would have called. I have 2 cats and a dog that thinks his job is to guard the house. I had planned on locking them up in a bedroom 15-30 minutes before their arrival, but because they showed up so early without warning I didn't have a chance. So the dog went wild when they rang the bell and my cats bolted for cover. I had to run around the house trying to herd all these animals, which was very difficult to do at 38 weeks pregnant. I managed to lock up the dog and a cat, but the last cat wedged herself under furniture and there was no getting to her. But since they were replacing the front door and had the door wide open the entire time, I was very scared she would bolt out the door so I ended up having to watch her constantly. Had they just given me 5 minutes warning that they would be early, this would not have turned into a fiasco.
When all was said and done, they ended up installing a left handed handle on my door (so that you have to pull the lever up to open the door) and broke my door bell. They didn't think to mention this to me. I only noticed when they were walking to their van and I turned around to go inside the house. They claimed they thought I had ordered a weird handle so they didn't say anything. Well they came back the next day and fixed everything so it all worked out.
Overall, we had many hiccups along the way, but the company was courteous and helpful and did did what it takes to make everything right.

Install went very smoothly and quickly. The crew was very polite and clean. The only very minor issue was they split the interior molding around the sliding door when removing the old door. They offered to have it replaced but we declined (easy fix). New siding matches very well with the existing 10 year old siding on the rest of the house. New door looks and works great! Very happy with the results. This project was the result of a mistake made on another project being performed at our house by a different contractor. Window World worked with the other contractor's insurance company very well and there were no hiccups in getting everything fixed. All the work was complete within one day! Thanks!

It went very well. It went smoothly and quickly. It made a big difference. It took longer to start the job than we thought. The salesperson and technicians were great and informative.

When TJ and his crew showed up at 8:05am they went straight to work! When my family and I walked out 20 minutes later they already had two windows out and the replacements being put in. When I came home at 11:30am to walk my dog, they were done inside and were finishing the outside. When I returned at 12:30 pm they were on the last window outside and finishing the clean up. They replaced 20 windows, including the basement, in less then 5 hours. They didn't leave anything behind and they did a great job!
If I ever know anyone who needs new windows I will definitely be recommending window world to them.

The installers were very professional and worked quickly. Old windows were disposed of and area was swept and clean. The pre-measured windows fit perfectly, there were no problems. I enjoyed watching them work.
