We had tile, but we were having so many problems with cracks in the tile and the grout cracking and causing leaks that we were recaulking every 6 months, to the point the shower became unusable. They knocked out all the tile and green board down to the studs, took out the original flooring, reworked the plumbing, then went to work installing everything. They got done late in the evening but the shower looked amazing. We had to wait a few days for the caulk to cure, and we waited a full week just to make sure it was fully set, but we loved it right away. This last effort went beyond my expectations. The work was done faster that I expected, and the workmanship was A+. I was concerned with the difficulty of leveling out concrete columns during the pour. At several thousand lbs per column, it would be impossible to correct any out of plumb conditions. He was careful to plum and secure each column before pouring, then checked for plumb after the poor. All were perfect.  I will be doing additional work in the near future to replace the beams on the upper deck in order to repair poor workmanship from a contractor 10 years ago.

This is the 4th large project Norse has done for me. The largest project was building out a laundry room on the lower level. That effort involved tearing down walls, building new walls, installing doors, flooring and installing new plumbing for the washer, dryer and new sink. The new laundry room measures 9 X 12, great lighting and a long folding table. My wife and I are happy campers. I was also impressed that he cleaned up each evening before he left to minimize dust and debris from the work area.

"Gary Kimberlin came to the house to examine the damage within a few hours of my call. He informed me the best way to approach such damage is to mask it since drywall repair often results in the cracks returning or new cracks appearing.  He suggested bead board over the south and north walls of the kitchen and living room area with moulding surrounding it. He suggested a beam over the vault to mask the damage.  Crown moulding would mask the damage in the bedroom.  ----  He scheduled the job and within two weeks arrived with his own people(no subs) to do the work.  The job was done efficiently and with minimal disruption. The repair looks good and I expectit will work as designed. ...   Kimberlin Construction seems well run, capable,  and professional."
