My business specializes in small handyman jobs such as repairing a toilet, painting a wall, assembling a dresser, installing a smoke detector, cleaning a dryer vent, and many more. My business is a clean boot, white glove type of business. I will always clean up after myself, wear boot covers while in the house, and provide quality customer service. I will not leave a job until the work is completely done and you as a customer are satisfied. I have about 3 years of experience doing handyman work while living with my Grandpa. I would assist him with a multitude of tasks in order to pay my rent to live there. I also have experience installing DirectTV, and assembling/installing Amazon products. I am a certified Satellite Technician, a certified Amazon Home Services technician, and have a Business Management degree. All work is done with estimates and invoices. We will schedule an appointment so I can inspect the project at hand. I will then email or text you an estimate and we will schedule a time for the service to be completed.

Lighting questions, answered by experts

Yes! As a matter of fact, there are many sensors that add motion to existing outdoor lights. These motion sensors attach to pre-existing flood lights and other outdoor lights without any fussy and potentially dangerous electrical work. Additionally, some flood lights and related fixtures ship with motion sensors built-in.

Yes, the outdoors is one of the areas where GFCI is always required. The receptacles used outdoors must have a ground-fault circuit interrupter, or GFCI, for safety reasons. Not only does GFCI make it safer for operation even in wet locations, including bathrooms, outdoors, basements, and other areas, but also they’ll automatically trip if there’s an imbalance in the circuit, keeping you safe from electrocution and decreasing the risk of an electrical fire.

If you need to visually inspect your Christmas lights to determine which are good and which need replacement, there are a few things to look for. First, look for discoloration, such as a dark spot or two on the inside of the glass. The spot is an indication of a burnt filament. Also, look for missing filaments, cracked bulb glass, and broken sockets.

Professional landscape lighting is typically worth the investment to improve your home’s curb appeal, safety, and security. Additionally, landscape lighting can add value to your home, creating a brightly-lit outdoor space that you can use after dark. According to the National Association of Realtors, landscaping lighting can add $2,500 to your home’s value. On average, this type of home improvement has a 50% return on investment.

Replacing a pool light costs about $625 per light. If you only need to replace the light bulb, plan on paying about $20 to $100 per light. The largest cost factors include the type of pool light, the number of pool lights needed, and the labor costs in your location. But additional cost factors include work required on existing wiring, other repairs, and the continual maintenance needed to keep your pool light in good working condition after installation.
