Best gas log pros near Goodfield, IL

"The charge was in line with the estimate we received. The work was completed when promised. He also offered us advice on the kind of firewood that is best."

"Jacob and Chris were excellent to work with, as well as the customer service team. Estimate was quick and easy and the team showed on the scheduled date. They worked through the scorching heat to make sure that everything was now up to code for our old chimney. They removed all the degrading bricks, built it all back up to the original design, installed a new liner and cap, and made sure that everything was connected to our furnace correctly. Cleanup was also thorough. You'd have never known they has been there besides the fact that you could see our spanking new chimney! Jacob was honest about the extent of disrepair things were in, and he was certainly correct. Since getting the chimney fixed I've no longer been experiencing the severe headaches that began when we moved in. I am writing this review about two months after the job. Turns out the fumes leaking into the house were really doing a number on me! Thank you Jacob and Chris, for saving our house and my health!"

"Customer service was great ! Workers were on time and very informative and respectful. Cost was more fair than 3 other quotes I got."

"Pricy, $300 to secure and install water heater controls which was noted as a $130 part. 15 minute job in the house. $375 to fix two gas leaks - 45 minute job in house. Work quality seems good. They were available on short notice."

"I would recommend this company to do work on any masonry work that needs done. Very prompt and very good work."

"Carpet restreched for every room in three bedroom ranch home. The project objective was to remove ripples in the carpets which had developed due to initial poor installation - home builder / carpet dealer would not stand behind their installation. This contractor was very honest and professional - project started and completed on time within cost estimates."

"Charlie did a full bathroom install for us in our basement where there was no bathroom before. Great job thanks Charlie!"

"I hired Kitchen and Bath Specialties for an interior painting project. Impressively, the business owner (Joe) was a **hands on** manager who participated in the painting process. There was superior customer service and quick response time. Nevertheless, homeowners who own older homes may want to steer away. At my house several, several cut lines, caulk lines and areas between the trims were applied in a sloppy, unprofessional manner. There were numerous missed areas and paint splatters. Indeed, it appears that the painters were in a hurry and/or distracted. Granted, Joe returned to the home and made a few repairs. However, he blames most problems on the age of my house. According to Joes theory, I should not expect much because my house is old. Perhaps he is right. However, most painting professionals disagree. According to experts, older homes need more attention and care than do newer homes. However, a houses age is no excuse for poor workmanship. If you own a distinguished older home, approach this company with caution."

"Arrived on time and was very knowledgable. They were higher by a few thousand on there estimate otherwise I would have used them."
