I am a Decorative Artist and have been professionally trained in Custom Decorative Painting and Decorating. I also assist in painting color consultation. My portfolio is quite extensive in this area. Room by room painting (or whole house painting), wallpaper installation and removal, funiture, cabinet and countertop refinishing are some other services that I offer. I am an independent owner and work on my own. Very rarely do I need to hire a sub-contractor, but I have done so on a large project. The downsides of brick staining include a complex process and lengthy application. Also, if your brick is damaged or already contains a non-porous sealant or paint, staining won’t be an option as it won’t be able to absorb properly.

Yes, you can limewash surfaces other than brick. Plaster, stone, stucco, and concrete can all also be limewashed.
