Living 4 the Dream is a 2 owner company with 8 employee's. We are a general contracting company that does most of the work, but will sub-contract a job if that is what is needed. Billing is handled by our secretary who sends out an invoice/contract before the job even starts. The contracts list in detail what the job entails and if everything (ex: price, dates, materials, procedures, etc.) are to your satisfaction we have the consumer sign the contract and send it back to our secretary. From there the owner will also sign the contract and have it sent back to the consumer so they have an agreement contract on hand.We do not offer promotions or financing specials. We do however offer free estimates.

NB Dustless Blasting, LLC. is the fastest, most cost effective and environmentally friendly surface preparation there is. NB Dustless Blasting can do everything that a sandblaster can do, but better. The uses for the Dustless Blaster are too vast to list, but suffice it to say that this machine can remove virtually any type of coating from any material. How does it work? The Dustless Blaster mixes abrasive and water inside the blast tank. Imagine throwing a handful of wet sand VS a handful of dry sand. The dry sand wouldn’t have much impact on the target, but it would blow in the wind and make a big mess. The same amount of wet sand would hit the target with more force, and wouldn’t blow in the wind. The water adds more mass and energy to the blast, while preventing dust.

Driveway Sealcoating questions, answered by experts

A good rule for all homeowners is to seal every driveway to protect it. Wait at least three months to seal an asphalt driveway and one month to seal a concrete driveway. You know it’s time to reseal your driveway when it shows obvious signs of wear and tear. It may appear as fading or discolored asphalt, small cracks, and oil stains. If you notice that one area of your driveway seems to dry slower than others, it’s time to reseal.

Chip seal roads and driveways are slightly more expensive than gravel, but significantly more affordable than traditional asphalt. Chip seal works wonders when used as a top coat. Its lighter color is less heat-absorbant than black asphalt. It also renews your aging, deteriorating asphalt without having to spend on major repairs or redoing the entire driveway.

In general, crack fillers last for about two years on average. That timeline can be shorter if you have extremely harsh winters or longer if you live in a mild climate. Luckily, this product is pretty affordable at the hardware store (about $10 to $30) and easy to DIY, so redoing it every few years shouldn’t be too much of a hassle.

There are more pros than cons, but there are a few disadvantages to sealing your driveway to be aware of. Sealant can make the surface slippery, which can be a hazard, especially when the driveway gets wet. Look for sealants with abrasive additives to help counteract this. You’ll also need to remember to reapply your sealant every two years and budget for the expense that comes with it.

Sealing coat asphalt after 6-12 months and then every 2-3 years is recommended.
