"We have hired Jack Ames twice now. Two years ago he removed and then completely redid our driveway. We liked his work and great pricing so we called him again to add on. They go a step above all the time. The first time he did a last minute removal of old concete and poured a step to our patio that was not on his list. This time, he even went back and filled in dirt where the concrete would have had a huge drop off to the grass. This will save us a ton of back breaking work. A properly applied sealcoat should last between two to five years, but we advise having your driveway resealed every two to three years to give it optimal protection. If you live somewhere with extreme weather, plan to reseal your driveway every two years—heavy rainfall and freezing temperatures can deteriorate the sealant quickly.

If you don’t want to seal the entire driveway using a squeegee, you can use a roller instead. Rolling the driveway sealer also provides an even, sufficient coating, although it might require more skills to control the speed and pressure. We don’t recommend spraying the driveway sealer because it would cause more splash, hence wasting more material.
