"First I will say I read several reviews both for this company and for one of their major competitors. Then I called both companies and discussed how they perform the work, and I got quotes from both. I needed my dryer vent line cleaned out and I wanted to make sure it was done using the best method possible. I didn't want the line to be a little better than it was. Let's face it, who wants to spend money cleaning a vent line, but if you need to do it, get it done correctly so that ALL the lint is gone, not just some of it! I spoke with Vito over the phone. He explained the process that Air Ducts Done Right uses. They use an extremely high power air compressor that stays in the truck. It has a rotating chimney brush attached to the end. (Here think of Dick Van **** in Mary Poppins) The brush was inserted from the outside of the house and feed through the vent line all the way to the dryer. You can hear it moving in the wall, so you know exactly where it is. The tool made all the turns in the line. They ran the brush through several times. You could see the chunks of lint flying out the exit. There was no way that tool was going to miss any clump of lint. I am happy with the choice of this company and the product they used on my dryer vent line. The other company said they would use a snake whipping tool to clean as much of the line as they could and then check CFM for airflow. They did not have a compressor, a chimney sweeping tool or a way to clean the turns. I wanted a full clean out, not a partial. A chimney sweeping tool is the way to go to get that line clean. I paid more than I would have if I went with the other company, but I am sure that line is as clean as it can be. The other company was $135. I paid Air Ducts Done Right $180.50 From the time Jake and his partner pulled up at my house to the time they drove away was 20 minutes. It was quick. I think the higher cost is associated with good quality tools. Thanks guys.show more

"Bill Epp made a couple of house calls to answer all of my questions. I have an old home and he explained how the new high-efficiency system would help reduce my gas bills. He took the time to explain everything carefully and did a wonderful job. They had trouble accessing the heater and had to remove a door, but they didn't have any problem doing that. "I can honestly say that I wish ever contractor or service provider I met or worked with was 50% as good as Innovative Air. They are as professional, friendly, and skilled as anyone I have ever worked with. I have had them do work for me in the past and they were great. But this round of work was more involved. I had 2 furnaces that needed repair/replacement and I needed some duct work done in my workshop. They offered to repair both furnaces and even showed me their cost on the parts. They gave me the option of repair versus replacement and did not pressure either way. Dan gave me options for the furnaces which allowed me to choose my price point. He gave me examples of other homes he had worked with and even recommended a lower priced furnace than I chose. He was honest and let me choose based on my preference. They also did not try to sell me on anything specific. They gave me options with opinions and in the end I chose what I wanted. There was no pressure at all. Their professionalism is unrivaled. They are on time (if not early) and they insist on taking their shoes off. They are great with my dogs...who try to get in the way. In fact, they were disappointed when I locked the dogs up in the bed room. Their work is beyond precise. They mark everything...literally everything on the pipes...to crazy precision. It's actually almost comical to watch Dan tells his employees to redo something on a pipes which is a 1/2 inch off. Most companies would be less than concerned but Dan is truly obsessed with things looking completely right. Finally, in everything they did for me...I could not believe how much they cleaned up. My furnace room and workshop were cleaner...by far...after they left than before they got there. It was honestly surprising how clean everything was when they left. I will not use another HVAC Company as long as Innovative Air is available. Great guys. Incredible service. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.show more

I scheduled an appointment to have my air duct cleaning in Arlington Heights because there was a smell in my house that I could not find. They took their time to look around and found the source of the smell, called me and told me that I didn't need my ducts cleaned because the smell wasn't coming from there!!
