"David McLaughlin and his workers were very good at creating a back yard for us with paver patio and walkway. one thing I appreciated is that David took the time to listen to our vision for creating a back yard space that compliments the lake view. He did a rendering and it was far more beautiful than we expected. We had Custom Landscapes install an above ground pool and loved his idea to build a deck around the oval pool. We appreciate Dave's communication when a product was delayed or we had weather related issues he would let us know. "The walk from the sidewalk to my house had settled a couple of inches below grade and needed to be brought back up. We contact Jack-a-Slab in January and after a little phone tag because of some reduced hours for winter we were on the schedule for as soon as weather allowed. They called in April with a few days notice to make sure someone would be home, and they brought the sidewalk up to grade quickly and for a very reasonable price compared to a full sidewalk replacement. You can see in the photo how far the sidewalk had sunk based on where the planter area on the left is sunk as well."

"Like some of the other people have stated.. they are pricey and they are also extremely busy. We worked with Andy as the sales rep and he was a great guy. We told him what we were willing to spend at most and he made sure we got everything we wanted for that price. I think people who are new to construction work might see these guys as a hassle but in all honesty.. the men they had working for us were some of the hardest working and fastest working men I’ve ever met. Everything was done in a week and a half.. and it is STUNNING! My only complaint is that we were supposed to get it started 8 weeks after signing and it didn’t start til about 12 weeks.. like I said though.. it’s a very busy time of the year. COVID-19 has everyone at home with their honey-do list and EVERYWHERE is booked. I would absolutely recommend Cronkhite.. always negotiate on price.. and make sure to check the work being done. Don’t watch them do something wrong and complain about it after.. If you have questions then ask them!"
