The walk from the sidewalk to my house had settled a couple of inches below grade and needed to be brought back up. We contact Jack-a-Slab in January and after a little phone tag because of some reduced hours for winter we were on the schedule for as soon as weather allowed. They called in April with a few days notice to make sure someone would be home, and they brought the sidewalk up to grade quickly and for a very reasonable price compared to a full sidewalk replacement. You can see in the photo how far the sidewalk had sunk based on where the planter area on the left is sunk as well.

They came out and they thought they could do the work and started to jack up our sidewalk and then they realized they couldn’t and it was like all turned out. They had to leave and reschedule and think of and a different approach. Unfortunately they didn’t realize that until after they had already messed up our current sidewalk. They did fix. The sidewalk itself looks nice but they tore up our bricks in our landscaping and I thought they could have taken a better care of either by putting it back nicely or by not messing it up so much. The price was fine. They came back and did the extra work for what they had quoted for the original work. I don’t know how that compares to other prices. The actual sidewalk looks good. They kept rescheduling a number of times and we had this jacked up sidewalk for like two months.

As busy as construction companies are, they got me in as soon as they could (maybe two weeks later than they would have preferred) because this repair couldn't wait till next spring. This coming winter probably would have "Done it in!" They came early each day... Got it done in 4.5 days. This barn will stay put unless a big sink hole appears!

They wanted to do everything before the cold.  They came out and did exactly what I wanted them to do.  They did an excellent job.  I thought there were going to be here for a couple or three days but they had it all done in one day.  They started early.  They made a lot of noise.  They dug put a lot of dirt and once they were done they put it back which is still settling.  The wall down looks excellent.  Their pricing is expensive.  Considering what they did, the results I have and the lasting impact they were the most reasonable and logical and it was worth the price.  They cleaned up and did not leave a mess.  They had me booked within three weeks.  They were right on time.  I am considering using them in the future to do some work on my driveway.
