"My company never worked for this customer. I have no record of him calling. We are based in Decatur Illinois and do not service the Urbana area. I, Tom Chapman the owner, answer over 90% of the phone calls. During this emergency we had changed our voicemail to direct customers to other local plumbers as we focussed on working for our customers and were unable to answer calls.During the 30 below zero wind chill freezing we were not accepting calls for new customers for over a 2 weeks period as we had booked our schedule in advance for regular residential and commercial customers working 10-12 hours each day under extreme weater conditions. Angies list is a great site yet when one person is mistaken, it becomes an issue as a company is marked for an issue it was never associated with. We keep our promises and stay in constant communication with our customers, We work on a first call, first to schedule, first served basis. Derik Schneider refers to us as A1 being used under a HWA. None of our companies work for any home warranty companies and will never due to their inconsistent basis and inabilty to cater to customers at our high standards. Sincerely the post shouldn't be here at all, but since it is, I want to share the facts and allows consumers to know our perspective, Thank your for your interest in A1A Plumbing,"
