They installed my boiler heater furnace in 2006 and my air conditioning unit in 2009, and I have used them ever since for the maintenance and service on both. Their customer service personnel are so nice and they get your service call scheduled very promptly. If there is any sort of emergency they will arrange to get a technician to your house the same day if at all possible. "Academy now Morrison Air is the worst! We have had a service contract that supports annual checks on AC and Heating. We had a scheduled check on our heater on 10/27/25 and on that day they called to state they had to cancel and reschedule for JANUARY 2026. On December 3rd our heater went out and they came to service it the next day. It was stated there was a blockage and it was an easy fix. In addition, it was recommended that we have our gas company check things out which we were able to have completed later that day. During the night of the 4th (less than 24hrs later) our heater went out again. We called to ask for service and we was told it would be 3 DAYS LATER! We found another company to come out and take a look instead of waiting 3DAYS. It was stated that the blockage that was reported to be fixed by Academy was not fixed and the new technician showed us the blockage. When I called to ask for a refund I was denied. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"

"I purchased a new AC unit last summer. When firing it up last month, the motor was dead and required a replacement. The motor had to be ordered, and I was told they would cover the cost of the motor (I should hope so), but I'd have to pay for the installation. I feel that, when purchasing a piece of equipment that expensive, one expects both the vendor and manufacturer to fully stand behind their products. Obviously, they did not. I tried to call the service manager to discuss this, but had to leave a message since he wasn't available. No return call. When the repair person came out to do the installation, I also asked him to have the service manager call. Again, no follow through. CAC also schedules for full day windows. For many households, that is simply not manageable. We have jobs, and I think the CAC policy is simply indicative that they are taking their customers' needs seriously. I have no complaints about the service technician that did the repair"

But they will still charge you for everything pointless that they did before then. First visit: Added R22 and left. It didn’t work ($377.50) Second and third visits: Replaced capacitor and left. It didn’t work. Came back and condemned the unit as unfixable. ($185). This is Peter’s in Columbia, MO."
