"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Greathouse mechanical came out at time promised, they were professional and knowledgeable. They serviced the air conditioner and showed me my optioned in replacing my heating and air units. I decided to go with another business. I recommend Greathouse, they are on the high side, but if you need someone right away, I would call them again."

"Excellent service.  Oscar and his crew go far and above what is necessary to fix or replace plumbing.  They are very conscientious, courteous and respectful.  They are also very considerate of your property, taking measures to insure that floors are kept clean and all debris is removed when they leave.  I will hire Rardin Plumbing and Heating again, and I highly recommend them.

Yes, you should turn off your AC if it’s leaking. Turning off the system prevents more condensation from leaking and reduces strain on the unit if a damaged internal component or lack of refrigerant is the cause. While this may temporarily stop the leak, water can continue to drip from a thawing coil even after the system is off. As soon as you notice a leak, turn off the unit and investigate the source or call a professional for an inspection.

For washable or electrostatic air conditioner filters, you can soak and rinse them with water. If you rinse the filter with water, make sure to use a faucet, shower head, or garden hose with a gentle water pressure setting, as strong water pressure could damage the filter.

But for disposable filters, water could ruin the filter, even allowing mold to grow in the filter. Instead, these filters should be replaced.

While Freon is mostly odorless, a Freon leak will produce a faint chloroform-like smell. Some people find that Freon's odor has a subtle sweetness to it. Some telltale signs of a Freon leak beyond odor include ice crystals on your evaporator coil, bubbling sounds, and hissing noises.
