"Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"

"Frank's crew has done a variety of tasks for us: ceiling painting, checking plumbing, redoing our front porch, fixing light fixtures and wiring, installing sensors in garage and front porch, and replacing our front door and storm door. "This place has terrible customer service and doesn't care about small pool purchases (they only prioritize big projects). As of May 14, 2020, I paid (down payment) for a 16' pool from Russo's Pools. I was told my pool would be installed in July 2020. The installer was to go out to look at the site within 1 week. They never did. I called and got no one, only leaving a message or the phone just ringing. This was all last summer 2020 with no communication. I contacted Russo's pool in March 2021 and was told they didn't have my pool nor had any idea what happened. They have given me the run-around since. I was told the installer would call me, and week after week, they did not. Not until I asked to speak to the owner that the installer called me, stating he had JUST gotten my number. The owner discussed them obtaining and installing an 18' pool to make things right. Anthony Russo is now stating he never said that; he says he only said he would look into it. All discussions about pool and site were about 18'. Even the assistant I have been talking to this week has been checking deliveries for the 18' pool and working on getting one. Anthony Russo says he can't do that, and I am here 334 days later and NO pool."

Later we wanted door plate done as well. Extra amount was fair. The worker was most efficient and no nonsense, didn't stop until he was done. Very happy. Will choose again for other projects for sure."
