"Project went as communicated. Russo's communicated all the steps and the project went as expected. Installed a 30x15 fiberglass pool with slide. They recommended great features with lights and the pool slide works great. The pool was great to use over the summer and is ready for 2016 as well. We have an auto cover which is highly recommended to keep out debris from the pool. The pool is beautiful and we love it."

"John answered on the first call and came by the same day to see the work and give me a price. 2 days later he had his crew there on time and ready to work. They went above and beyond and made sure to not only remove everything from the home but also haul everything away so I wouldn't be stuck with all the garbage. I would hire them again and will be referring them to people."

"They called me within 2 minutes of submitting the request for service and it was a Sunday! They had a tech out the next morning, he was very polite and fixed the issue quickly. He was even kind of enough to offer advise on better pool maintenance. They definitely go above and beyond your needs and the cost was very minimal considering the time the tech was at my house. I will definitely call them again and possibly even use them for my opening/closings instead of the service I have now."

"We had let our pool go, lots of leaves and debris in the pool. John was great! Came out the following day, performed all that was asked and then some. Trouble shooted our filter, made recommendations for future maintenance. I would definitely recommend them to perform all your pool service needs. Jason-Mokena"

"I bought a Groupon for caulk and grout repair.  Brad was very busy due to the response to the deal, and we scheduled a date a couple months out.  Then I had something come up and wanted to get the work done quickly, and he was able to change his schedule to accomodate me.

I did not have the right color caulk for part of the job, so Brad found it at one of his suppliers and picked it up for me.  Using that and some grout that I had, he removed and replaced old caulk and grout in three bathrooms and two locations in the kitchen.  He was very meticulous, and obviously takes pride in doing the job right.

Brad's price was very reasonable - even without the Groupon it would have been good.  I will definitely call him the next time I have a large or small tile installation or repair to do."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

When designing your dream pool, it's important to leave enough room for safe walkways, patios, and extras such as outdoor kitchens and fire pits. Your local building codes may specify the minimum space between your pool and your house, utility lines, and property line. In most cases, the area of the patio around the pool should be equal to or greater than the surface area of the pool.

The number of gallons in your pool will determine how much chlorine you’ll need to add to your pool for the first time. Chlorine levels should fall between 1 and 3 ppm. It's crucial to read the instructions on your chlorine packet to determine the number of tablets to put in the water based on your pool's capacity.

You can avoid pool collapse—known as pool pop in an inground pool—if you follow the instructions on how to drain your pool safely. Wait for a temperate, dry day and slowly remove the water with a sump pump, hose, or the attached drains and hydrostatic plugs.

Building a pool yourself will take at least eight to 12 weeks. After all, this is the building timeline after hiring a pool contractor who knows how to draw up plans, analyze your landscape, and apply for proper permits. If you choose to tackle any part of the process alone, assume building a pool will take two to three months at a minimum.

It’s okay to leave a pool pump on 24-7. In fact, running it continuously has big upsides, including consistently distributing chemicals, keeping a steady pool temperature, preventing algae growth, and keeping pool water clean. However, there is a tradeoff—operating a pool pump around the clock increases energy costs and can take a toll on the pump’s longevity. If you want to run your pool pump all the time, invest in energy-saving equipment like a variable-speed pump.
