"Chris and his colleague, Dan, arrived promptly on the date of installation.  They were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful.  Chris purchased all of the equipment in advance of the appointment.  They worked diligently and efficiently to install and program the system.  They mounted the TV above the fireplace, moved an electrical outlet and even moved a few of the in ceiling speakers to accommodate the new setup.  The work was flawless and done on time and right at budget.  They cleaned up after themselves and left the place looking better than when they started.
I couldn't be happier with the equipment and work.  One month in, we haven't had a single problem or issue.  I'd recommend Chris and Dan to anyone looking for simple, one room setups all the way up to multi-room, whole home automation solutions.

"No complaints. The Technician was professional and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I used an Angies list coupon for one of the jobs and it was a fair price. The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."

"I would not recommend this vendor. Currently they are my monitoring service. Although the service is fine, the employees are rude and do not value their customers. I have had constant headaches with dealing with them over the past year. Examples include them keeping my ex-husband on my service and billing me for his own home monitoring, incorrect charges, false billing for their 'service plan' that I never signed up for, and worst of all just being plain old rude on the phone. I either do not get calls back when I leave a message or when promised a call back...nothing. I currently have a dispute for $30. They would rather argue and call me a liar than refund me the $30. I was told that I could speak with the owner. I left a message and no returned call. After being a loyal customer for nearly 5 years, I am not worth $30 to them. Although it will cost me more money than the $30, I plan on finding another provider who values their customers. Can't wait to cancel service and let all know what they are about to embark on if they sign on with Alert. Their service is fine in terms of setting up appointments and monitoring, but I wish their future clients luck when dealing with the human side of doing business with them."

"I've been nagged by relentless malware popups on my MacBook Pro over the past year, none of which I was able to defend against despite the purchase of multiple virus software solutions. I needed real help from real pros, someone I could talk to who could address my problem out of the comfort of my home. AIO Integrations fixed my issue in less than 20 minutes via a scheduled call and provided helpful tips on how to prevent annoying (and threatening) malware attacks in the future. I strongly recommend AIO Integrations LLC to anyone seeking professional service, deep technology experience and a 'can-do' customer-first' outcome. My only regret is that I didn't find AIO Integrations earlier. This was a 5 Star experience. And thank you, Robert Trembath!"

"Jim Amabile from Mach One was amazing. He demonstrated dedication to the job, integrity and honesty in his interactions with me and great concern for the quality of the work performed. My home is one of the older Chicago bungalows, circa 1920's, with a detached garage. It had been upgraded to a 100A service a number of years back but, the wiring to the garage was very basic and wouldn't support any bigger load. We had purchased an Electric Vehicle [EV] and were charging it at 120v/15A which means it would take all night to recharge from a minimal amount of driving during the day. We wanted to upgrade the electric to be able to support the max that the car could take which would be 240v/60A. I got several estimates and they were either very cheap and questionable, or very expensive and over-engineered. I met with Jim and he was willing to go as in depth about what was needed and why as I wanted to (and me being a techie, I wanted to go pretty deep.) Together we came up with a comprehensive solution that would exactly meet my needs and he explained everything along the way and answered every one of my questions. Having worked with contractors before, I know that a 'one week job' can take two months. With Jim, the job took less time than I thought, the quality was outstanding, and the price was excellent — I knew exactly what I was paying for (I have the receipts) so I was not gouged with a markup on parts. I would recommend Jim to anyone and I'm going back to him soon to upgrade my home to 200A service to not only support max charging for the car but as an investment in my home."

Home Automation questions, answered by experts

DIY staging is possible, but professional services enhance buyer appeal with expertly chosen furniture, layouts, and colors.

Choosing a high-quality home stager can mean the difference between your home flying off the shelves or sitting on the market for weeks or months, and it all starts with verifying the stager’s experience. You can start by asking how long the professional has been in the business, and you should also ask for references and examples of past work in your particular area. Ask the stager about your options, including virtual staging, furniture rental, and other preparation services.

In most cases, staging a home is expensive but worth every penny. According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 81% of agents representing buyers stated that staging made a positive impact on the buyer’s perception of the house and made it easier to visualize it as a home. The value of your home—which is to say the amount buyers are willing to spend—is based on perception alone and not the inherent value of the land or structure. Therefore, improving the appeal of your home through staging is likely to make your home more enticing during a home sale.

While LVP won’t increase home value as much as engineered hardwood, it can increase the value somewhat because it creates a warm and inviting aesthetic. It’s also durable and waterproof, so it can be appealing to homebuyers with pets and children. LVP is very low-maintenance, so that can also appeal to homebuyers who don’t want to spend a lot of time keeping up with an engineered or solid hardwood floor.

The average cost to stage a home is around $1,800, with most sellers paying between $800 and $2,800 for professional services. However, the total cost can vary significantly, ranging from $500-$600 for an initial consultation to $5,000 or more for comprehensive, full-home staging.

The final price depends on several factors, including the home's size, location, and condition, as well as the number of rooms being staged. Other key cost drivers include whether you need to rent furniture, the quality of the decor, the stager's experience, and the duration of the staging services. The scope of the project also plays a role, from virtual staging and simple decluttering to full-service design, which may involve repairs and maintenance.
