DO NOT HIRE if you want precision work. Very poor build, sloppy cuts, and bad fits. 1st crew he sent over butchered our Victorian Newell posts, Alex had to buy 3 posts to replace them. Then he slopped through a one-day rebuild at lightning speed with no regard for fit. His attitude turned terrible, and he refused to take direction. My wife cried when she saw his finished product. Then he refused to return to fix anything we listed, calling it a bad fit. He got angriest when the word architectural was mentioned.

After our plumber fixed a leak from a corroded pipe going from our kitchen sink to the crawl space, we retained a mold remediator to inspect the affected area. He advised us that the leak had rotted several joists. Our usual handyman could not take on the required foundation repairs because he did not have the necessary tools, e.g., a jack. He described in detail, however, what repairs needed to be done. We then obtained free estimates from companies with good online reviews. Alex Riley of Classic Handyman was the only individual who proposed repairs that matched those described by our usual handyman. Indeed, Alex indicated his company had recently done similar foundation repairs on a house that was complicated by an attached deck. Because the damaged area in our crawl space was adjacent to the garage, the task was further complicated as this type of foundation repair is typically done from the outside. Alex assigned Jesus to do the repairs. Jesus was prompt, courteous and incredibly productive. He was able to complete the necessary foundation repairs (i.e., insertion of sister joists and replacement of portions of the sill plate and rim joist) in a single day. When the mold remediator came back to finish his remediation, he said that Jesus and Classic Handyman had done a great job.

I had a vision for what I wanted on my remodeling job, and I really appreciated Classic's numerous options that helped me to get where I wanted to be at a reasonable cost. All the guys are courteous and trustworthy and really seem to care how the customer feels about the work. Jeff M

Austin and Jesse were prompt and courteous. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything when they were done. They also offered helpful suggestions for the remainder of the project I was planning to finish myself. I would definitely hire them to do other projects in the future.

Tony was excellent! Tony was on time and friendly. He paid special attention to detail, and explained everything he was doing. When an idea didn't go as planned we talked through it and Tony found the solution. I wanted a door installed off the kitchen to the basement to block noise. Tony did his best to install the door while filling any gaps along with borders to create a block. I am pleased with his work. Tony took the time to go to the hardware store to get the borders and any other items needed to complete the job so it was done the same day. He unclogged 3 drains, replaced the basketball backboard, and flipped the refrigerator door. The work took longer than anticipated due to odd size of the doorway, but Tony made the door fit perfectly and I am satisfied with the extra time spent. It is worth the extra money for sure. There were no hidden fees, just straightforward billing. Ashley was receptive from the start and kept me updated throughout the process. I am very happy with the service I received from Tony and Ashley at Classic Handyman. I will contact Classic Handyman again for work needed. Thank you Tony and Ashley! I truly appreciate your help!

Alex came for the estimate. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I'm happy with the finished product. Two guys came for the install. They were friendly and professional. The entire project cost a little more than I was anticipating, but I never felt any pressure to accept anything I did not want to. I would hire again.

Jesus and Jesse did an exceptional job in a very short period of time. They were incredibly professional and productive. I would hire both of them all day long. They did a great job!!!!

Tony refitted some non-code copper fixtures to cast iron on the main to the gas panel in the crawl space. He also adjusted the vent for the dryer going into the crawl and leveled the washer/dryer in the furnace room so that it sat flush to the wall. It was done very quickly and looked great.

I have used Classic Handyman and Tony for a couple of different properties. From cleaning and leveling a crawl space to switching out plumbing pipes, tearing out shelving and fixing a cedar fence, he has always called ahead of time and verified that the work was done correctly. Thank you Tony!

This was the second time working with Alex from Classic Handyman and once again it was easy to communicate what I wanted done and how I wanted it done. The service was fast, the quality was superb and I will definitely be calling Classic Handyman again. Our project was to reuse our old pergola wood. Jesus from Classic Handyman knew exactly what we wanted done. He took his time finding and matching up the wood planks to make sure there was consistency in the color and overall style. Jesus Carrillo worked on a number of handyman jobs in my house. He was very professional, courteous, and thorough. The quality of his work was excellent. He arrived on time and was very efficient. I am very pleased with his work and would recommend him to anyone wanting to use his services.

Jesse helped us out with multiple small projects including drywall. Drywall was done beautifully and other jobs including hanging shelves, unclogging a drain, connecting a gas line for a new dryer. The list goes on and he did it all! Thank you, Jesse!

Frank did an excellent job of installing my door and replacing locks on some old doors, there were a few issues with the locks, but Frank was able to complete the project. I have more small and large projects and will definitely be working with them again soon.
