"Daniel and MLC really came to our rescue. We struggled for several months to find a contractor to replace a sizable, rapidly deteriorating retaining wall on our property. After finally connecting with another contractor, negotiating and renegotiating our contract, and getting all the required permits, that contractor backed out of the project in mid-October. Our engineer put us in touch with Daniel who promptly assessed the project, quoted a fair price, fit us into his schedule, and completed our project on budget – all by mid-November. Daniel knows his stuff and was very easy to work with. After the dust cleared and the final check was cashed, we realized that our driveway took a beating over the course of the project. We probably should have anticipated this given all the heavy material and equipment involved. We got an independent estimate to make the driveway repairs, and Daniel promptly sent a check so that we can take care of repairs in the spring. Broken promises: Walkway cured wrong, no follow-up. $1,800 grading included 3-month landscaping - no communication. Promised debris cleanup, later said not responsible. Damaged 4-month fence, couldn't repair properly, paid $300 after pressure. Dismisses costs at estimate, adds them later. Makes promises, then excuses."
