Decided it would be easier to move one sprinkler head than jury rig something on the slanted concrete. All other installation and piping was great. It took him two days to complete his work he scrubbed the inside duct work till looked new again. My ducts had not been cleaned professionally since the house was built in 1967. He definitely earned his fee however the cleaning was included in the price of the new furnace we bought so I had to use the price he had told me he charges. 5 months later my house smells wonderful when the blower turns on and my furnace filters are barely dirty. Will definitely use this service again because it has made such a difference. Jeff was very polite and professional. The repair for the head gasket was quoted at $1600. Since I had never had a problem with leaking oil or overheating, I asked them if it was safe to drive the car to another service center for a second opinion. He said that he wouldn't recommend driving the car. I drove it to another mechanic, who found a missing clip on one coolant hose and no other problems with the engine. He saw no evidence that would have lent itself to a misdiagnosis of a leaking head gasket and no major leak of oil, although the coolant was leaking because there was a missing clip. Either the mechanic at Phil Meador was embarrassingly incompetent or malicious, either way I will never be going back to their service department for any reason, including warranty service. I recently had A-V Plumbing install a tankless water heater in my home, and I am beyond impressed with the entire experience! From the initial consultation to the final installation, the team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They took the time to explain the benefits...
The service tech showed up on the appointed date and time. He was pleasant. However, he did not perform the service he charged me for on the written invoice. He did not go under my house to look at the heat pump that was experiencing the problem. Had he done so, he would have found...

Heating Oil questions, answered by experts
You can expect a geothermal system to last for years. According to the Department of Energy, the underground infrastructure for the heat pumps lasts about 25 to 50 years, which includes the pipes buried in the soil. The actual heat pump itself has a life span of around 25 years.
A geothermal heat pump system will take about 10 years to pay for itself, and it has a life span of anywhere from about 25 to 50 years. Installing a geothermal heat pump will cost about $14,250 upfront, but it can reduce your energy bills by around 65% when compared to a conventional HVAC system.
NATE-certified technicians may charge slightly higher service fees compared to non-certified technicians. This is because NATE certification signifies a higher level of expertise and professionalism, often leading to more efficient and effective HVAC repairs and installations. While the upfront cost may be marginally higher, NATE-certified technicians can potentially save you money in the long run by reducing energy consumption, preventing frequent breakdowns, and extending the life span of your HVAC system. When looking for a local HVAC company to hire, it never hurts to ask about NATE certifications.
You need to service an HVAC system about twice per year, with a service including an inspection and basic maintenance. It’s best to schedule maintenance in the spring (after the furnace has been running and before the AC kicks on) and in the fall (after the AC worked hard all summer and before winter’s first chill arrives).
Regular HVAC services will keep the system working as efficiently as possible, saving you money on utilities and larger repairs. HVAC maintenance costs around $250 per visit, while bigger repairs from forgotten upkeep could cost thousands.
