I called around to make a few inquiries. I couldn't recommend this place enough if I tried. I got a quote for repair from another company, which misdiagnosed the issue. Ken came out to inspect the unit and found that the motor wasn't bad; it had just seized. He was able to oil it and break it free from last winter's bondage. Even if it only lasted another season, it was well worth a second look from a trained observer like Ken. The cost for repair?... a service call. This is a company that is ethical, which means even though my unit is already at end-of-life, I'll be calling Ken at Air Exchange first when it's time for a whole new system! Thank you, Ken! And at that, thanks to the whole team at Air Exchange Tech! Referrals are coming your way!

First Ken gave me a competitive quote for a top of the line system (96% efficiency), outdid the other two quotes for lessor systems. I have had Ken work on my system in the past and have only had good experiences. The product was ordered, they came in on Monday AM, they were careful and acted in a friendly and professional manner, by the end of the day they had completed the job, gave me instructions on using the new thermostat, and were gone. The only negatives were they had to turn the gas off a second time to better place the gas piping, and the second time they neglected to relight the gas water heater. I discovered it Tuesday AM, relit the water heater, and let Ken know - if I had not had the knowledge to correct the problem there would have been someone out to do it immediately.

I called for service at 9:15 am. After completing other service call(s) the repairman arrived at our house approximately at noon. He quickly diagnosed that our pressure switch was not working and also noticed that the furnace had an incorrect pressure switch for our altitude (~5000 feet). He replaced the pressure switch and resulting in our furnace working correctly.

I guess you could say this is an update to my furnace install of last Oct. I should have had AC installed at the same time, but was not sure I would need it. However, I did, so I called and scheduled an installation.
Again, like last October, very professional, and did a great job. In my case it was a hard install due to having to remove the furnace to install the coils and then custom design the intake vents to accommodate the humidifier.  But they did the job, and all is well.
I wanted an A/C unit with the same manufacture as the furnace; Trane. Price was great; especially when compared to my neighbor who had the same size A/C condenser installed in his basically identical house and was charged $900 more and it was a brand that does not even come close to the quality in a Trane (per Consumers Reports and other online reviews).

My water heater went out and I was in need of a new one. Bob from A.E.T. was very responsive, he came out, we decided on the best course of action and they placed an order for a new navient tankless water heater. As soon as it was in they came over and installed it. My fiance and I have been very happy for the last 2 months with our decision and would not hesitate to use A.E.T. in the future. I should mention that they even came in a little under bid which I was obviously very happy about.

VERY professional.  The four men who came to my house were very friendly and courteous and knew their job.  Just waiting to get it finished. I would only use AET and I recommend them to everyone that needs their services.

Went great. Started on Thurs, finished Fri AM. It was a difficult installation due to the location of the old furnace and water heater. A lot of venting to install and a bypass vent for the humidifier. The furnace required a new exhaust vent and a new intake vent (both ABS...I believe) through the roof, and the water heater was vented over to the old furnace's vent (old water heater was electric, new was gas).
Every person I have had contact with in this company was great. From the person who gave me the bid, to the owner who actually came out and worked to the rest of the crew to get the job done and done correctly.
And I'll say there is a NOTABLE difference between the old furnace and this new Trane.

This was a difficult problem for them.  The home is older has no duct work or AC at all, all electric resistance heating embedded in ceiling. repair is essentially impossible.
The owner is elderly, and has certain exacting standards of work.  She is not wealthy and any additional costs are hard for her to bear.  As a consequence we negotiated the best price we could, with a ductless system covering the main floor only in the areas which are the principle living areas.  Ken was very understanding of the owners situation, worked very diligently with her and was very patient.  His crew was very professional and polite.  The only hickup was when the crew forgot that the security system was armed and failed to call the owner prior to trying the door.  Lets just say that a luncheon meal went uneaten....  Other than that, all was well, she was initially testy with the whole process, change is never easy and it does not get easier with age, in the end she insisted that I express her deep satisfaction, and emphasis that all the work was done professionally and with great patience and understanding and all within her budget.
Total cost was on budget $6500 with a compressor and two zones.  The compressor can handle several more zones which may or may not be required.   She has reported that with the two zones the entire house is now cool and comfortable.

Provided estimates of numerous options then explained differences. No pressure. Increased size of both units and they work great. House heats and cools much more quickly and efficiently. Great experience working with them

Asked if the other needed replacing as well but they indicated that it did not show signs on needing replaced. The only thing that I had a slight issue with is that I asked for them to. I had recent shoulder surgery and was unable to vacuum and clean the furnace wheel area out. When I checked they did not complete this request but did not charge me for it. I was not home at the time and had someone else let them in to do the work so was unable to remind them on the cleaning. In any case, for the work they did perform I was satisfied. I would have gave them an "A" all around if not for the cleaning out issue.
