We have been in business for three years on our own. I grew up doing construction with my father and worked with him for 10 years prior to going out on my own when he decided to go part-time. I really enjoy this work and love to help customers with their projects. Making their home into a space they love is very fulfilling to me. "Matt and his crew did a very poor job laying the pavers for our patio. This was such a disappointment and still is as the stone pavers are buckling with latge cracks between them. An job done by ametuers whom he hired and rarely checked up on. My husband had to go out and tell them to use a chalk line or something to get straight seams. Matt had a bad attitude when he attempted to fix the patio pavers, it's a substandard job, the worst experience with a contractor ever!ever! I see he has great reviews, why ours turned out so badly is due to the unskilled workers he hired to do the work. "

"The ladies at the office were courteous and professional. Jennifer sent a picture of the person who would be coming to my home; Brad Johnson a Senior Service Technician! I only needed an inspection of my old furnace that was making a strange noise and taking a long time to kick on. He checked it thoroughly, reassured me that it was working, and vacuumed it out. He took the time to answer all my questions; he was friendly. The quirks of the furnace were just 'the nature of the beast,' (my add.). I found a company who's people that I can trust! It was worth every bit of money I paid. They all earned it! Thank you."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

While a leak may seem small, even a gentle trickle of consistent moisture can lead to mold problems in your bathroom. Make sure you know how to check for mold if your toilet has been leaking for a while. Pooling water by your toilet also poses a risk for someone slipping on the slick floor of your bathroom. Finally, a leak of any size can lead to water waste that increases your water bill.

According to the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), the distance between your trap and the vent should be no more than 6 feet. For your vent to work properly, it needs to feed into the drain line within 6 feet of trapways that connect to it. Using this formula, you should be able to determine whether you will need multiple vent lines.

Yes, and no. Your shower, toilet, and sink all connect to the same main drain, but the secondary drains going from each fixture to the main drain are usually separate. This isn’t always the case—especially in older homes—but since toilets contain black water and showers, tubs, and sinks have grey water, toilets are more regulated and come at a greater risk of contamination. It’s best to keep these drains separate using individual waste collection for this reason.

Yes, a toilet and shower can share a vent, which can simplify the plumbing installation and save space in your home. You’ll just need to make sure that the vent and associated plumbing are large enough to meet your local plumbing codes and handle the demands of both without compromising the efficacy of the vent. A qualified plumber can ensure that the vent is properly installed and adheres to local codes.

Yes, you can have a toilet without a septic tank. However, it will have to be a composting toilet. Composting toilets work similarly to aerobic septic systems in that the waste, which sits in a separate compartment below the toilet itself, is slowly broken down by aerobic bacteria. These toilets typically have a vent to get rid of harmful gasses with a fan, which requires a battery. You will have to dispose of waste in the toilet manually every three weeks to every three months, depending on how many people are using the toilet.
