"I should have called The Tree Brothers years ago. I thought the job (taking down 9 trees near buildings on the property) would be complicated and leave a mess. When Adam came to offer a very reasonable quote he assured me that he had the tools and knowledge to get the job done. He was professional from quote to finishing the job. I’ll be recommending The Tree Brothers to my neighbors and will reach out for the next phase later this year."

"Outstanding arborists. Charlie and Ryan trimmed and shaped overgrown trees and shrubs with finesse and excellent attention to detail and removed dead trees. I couldnâ t be happier. Their prices are honest and very realistic/affordable. They work smoothly, cautiously, and clean up to meet the highest of expectations. . My plants are very happy and my yard looks like Iâ m rich. Yes, Iâ m happy!"

""I can't recommend these guys enough! They were right on time and did an incredible job. They took care of three trees and all those pesky stump sprouts in the back, grinding everything down perfectly. They also tackled a pine tree and an overgrown bush in the front—stumps and all—and used a front loader to leave the whole area leveled and ready to go. 10/10!""

"Excellent service. Price was fair, work crew was prompt and professional. Removed large 5 trees and a couple of them were leaning badly, it was a lot of work. Very pleased with the care they took to avoid damaging the yard and other trees in the work area."

Small jobs welcome

"It has been a long time since I went into a home project with minimum expectations and was thoroughly impressed beyond any of my possible expectations. I wanted 4 big trees removed. Tyler pointed out there were other trees that definitely needed to be removed. He didn't hesitate, he did much of his own work, but also had appropriate staff and equipment when needed. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and definitely hard working. Even my neighbor hired him to remove a very large leaning pine tree. I would highly recommend Tree Me Kindly."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

No. Most of the time, suckers are only a sign that the tree is experiencing stress. However, they can also be the canary in the coal mine, letting you know that something else is stressing your tree. If you have lots of suckers on your tree, calling in an arborist or a tree care expert is always a good call to determine the cause and develop a solution that de-stresses your tree.

The best time to trim trees is in late fall through winter when the tree has slowed its growing for the year. Cold weather stops insects and fungal growth from attacking a new tree wound. Summer and fall are considered the worst times to trim trees, but it’s permissible in certain scenarios, such as tree disease, damaged branches, or small, aesthetic cuts.

You can hire a professional arborist or tree removal service to cut down a tree to ensure safety, prevent property damage, and comply with all the local regulations. It’s highly advisable to always hire a professional, as tree removal can be extremely dangerous, especially for large or damaged trees. Certified arborists or tree removal experts have the proper equipment, training, and insurance to do the job safely and efficiently. They can also handle cleanup, stump removal, and obtaining the necessary permits.

Planting trees far enough from your foundation will protect your home from root damage, but if you’re dealing with existing trees, you can still guard against roots. Root barriers form a physical boundary that will prevent roots from encroaching on your foundation and can help save you from expensive foundation repair costs.

No, you cannot plant a tree above a gas line. Tree roots grow and spread over time and can sometimes dent, crack, or penetrate a gas line. Those same roots may also cause accessibility problems for maintenance or repairs. You can generally plant vegetation with non-invasive root systems, low-growing vegetation, and flower beds near gas lines.
