Our focus is providing highest quality and best service. We use the best sub-contractors to assure the highest quality end product. We strive to stay on time and in budget. There are other companies that offer similar services but are more expensive due to high overhead. We keep our overhead low so we can offer the best service and quality without being as expensive as some of the larger firms in town. We do not strive to be and will rarely be the lowest bidder. If you're looking for a high quality, professional, honest contractor without high pressure sales tactics, call or email us today. Our typical hall bath remodels start around $25k, master bath $50k and kitchens start at $70k. We do not do insurance work, rental properties or investment properties. Please call 208.755.8909

"Our contractor took care of everything for us, and made it easy for us. Any concerns were made right, or exceeded our expectations. It's great to work with people you can trust."

2007 years of experience

Brilliant Services has proudly provided remodeling to the Treasure Valley since 2007. Our team of Craftsmen have over 120 years of experience in the trades and there is almost nothing we haven't seen or done. We offer residential and commercial remodeling, maintenance and handyman services. As a General Contractor, we are in a unique position to be able to assist our clients with everything from small handyman projects to full scale remodels, additions and tenant improvements. We have both in-house staff and qualified subcontractors to address everything our clients need. Whether it's carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, roofing, windows, doors, floors, walls, tile, carpet, vinyl, chimneys, hearths, insulation, attic fans, stucco, fences, pergolas, patio covers, decks, concrete, etc, etc, etc, it's our job to find the right combination of employees and subcontractors to get your project completed with quality and on time. You don't have to piece together your project and roll the dice on hiring unknown providers. Call us today and we'll handle it for you.

"Steve from brilliant services showed up within a couple days to bid the project. He was informative and thorough. Very personable and had the bid to me same day. His company sent me a thorough bid along with a typed up contract of services to be provided and expectations. They had Mike at my house laying tile within a week. Mike was amazing. He did such a good job and worked extremely quickly. He finished the job by himself in two days. The difficult part was I had already started the project. Mike was able to work off of what I had started and made everything look amazing. I had several bids prior to these guys and I was extremely nervous to just bring anybody in to do tile work. In the state of Idaho the licensing process is minimal at best. Like Mike said there are Tile guys and people that just do tile. But the problem with tile is you don’t get any do overs. Once it’s laid the process to tear it up can cost more than the initial project. Home Depot bid me over 8k and that didn’t even include materials. These guys were a fraction of that cost. They have even been available for text or phone call questions even after the project has been completed. I grouted the tile myself and they have both been available for questions. I would highly recommend these guys for tile work for sure but I’m sure they handle all things in homes with amazing care and service! Matt"

All Trade Construction Inc. is a full service residential and commercial building and remodeling company with 25 years experience. Our main focus is customer satisfaction.

"I highly recommend All Trade Construction, which I found here on Angie's List. Bob is the contractor for All Trade, and he was excellent and thorough from start to finish. He built a new detached two-car garage to match the style of our 1950s mini ranch house. He put the time in to give us an accurate estimate for his bid--i.e. like calling the plumbers who replaced our main sewer line to see if the garage project would require moving its location and thus unforeseen extra $$$. And the time he put into the estimate paid off because his bid was quite competitive compared to some of the others we received (which ranged from $20,000-$40,000 in the winter of 2019). This thoroughness of Bob's also meant that the project had few, unexpected additional costs. Once we had the contract signed and the permit ready, Bob scheduled his sub contractors promptly, and then entire garage was done within a few weeks. Basically, Bob ran a tight ship, and throughout the process he communicated what was happening and when it would happen--like deliveries or sub contractors showing up and when. He was also at the job site, practically daily, inspecting the work. Then at the end of the process, Bob cleaned up the job site himself and raked out the gravel around the concrete slab's driveway / apron to make it more tidy. One last relevant detail: after the job was complete and paid for, I painted the exterior to save costs, and in the process, I noticed a bowed stud causing a bump in the wall. I asked Bob about it, and he said that he would make sure it was fixed. I didn't have high expectations, given that his framers were so busy with summer construction season underway. But within a few weeks, Bob himself came back and fixed the bad stud.... That's the kind of work Bob did: detailed and honest. Thank you, Bob, for a great new garage!"

Insulation questions, answered by experts

A-frame houses pose specific challenges that can make heating difficult. Their open concept design with high ceilings can lead to a colder lower floor and a warmer upper floor. A ceiling fan that pushes warm air down or pulls cold air up, depending on the season, can easily counteract temperature issues. Additionally, certain types of heating do better in these homes than others. For example, heated floors tend to be more practical and energy efficient than baseboard heating.

In most cases, the building code in your location will determine the minimum amount, in R-value, required for your home's walls, attic, and other spaces. For attics, the minimum R-value amounts start at R30 in the south, R38 in mild climate locations, and R49 in northern states and cold western areas.

The level of insulation is determined by both the material and the thickness of the door. Some garage door materials (such as wood) have natural insulating capabilities, while other materials (such as metal) do not. No matter the material, two-layer and three-layer garage doors have a higher R-value than single-layer garage doors, as insulation is fitted between the panels.

If you have a number of large icicles on your roof, you may have an issue with insulation. This is particularly true if you’re also dealing with ice dams. A roofing contractor can diagnose potential insultation issues and help you come up with a game plan to solve them.

Adding insulation to ceilings is an excellent way to increase the energy efficiency of your home. If your home's layout is such that you need insulation in the ceilings rather than in the roof, it's likely that at least some insulation already exists in the space. However, each additional inch of insulation you can add boosts the R-value by between 2.2 and 4.2.
