We initially contacted just the top two Foundation Repair Experts listed on Angie's List because we can't afford to have our home repaired by anyone who lacks the proper credentials, staff, tools, training, techniques, supplies, 25 year transferrable warranty, and the hands on experience to deliver all services as promised. We are extremely pleased with the final results to take back our homes basement from poor workmanship done by the original builder and owner of our home back in 1979 We purchased the home in 2001 and unknown to us the foundation had been placed on top of clay based sub-soil which was an acceptable building practice back in 1979. Today's building codes prohibit this careless and costly practice of home site preparation for the homeowner. In most cases, patios are an outstanding investment, typically providing a return on investment of between 80% and 90%. Patios provide a dedicated place to relax and entertain, so you and your family will enjoy them until you sell your home. Once you sell your home, buyers typically love to see patios and outdoor entertainment areas and may be willing to pay more for your home if your patio is well-maintained. The only thing to keep in mind is that patios may be a drawback if they take up too much of a small yard.

In most cases, you’ll want your patio to be 4 inches thick, although you should add reinforcement and increase the thickness up to around 8 inches if you want it to support heavier loads and resist cracking more readily.
