Foley Tree Care was founded in 1998 by Carl Foley who now runs it with his wife Sarah Foley. We perform all sorts of tree work including land & view clearings, removals (we do not do stumps but have a sister company who we recommend), pruning, trims, and tree injections for various health problems with trees.

It’s usually best to transplant a tree when it’s dormant. For some, the best option is transplanting during fall after the leaves have fallen—October or November. Salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, and burning can all help dissolve a tree stump. You can also bury the tree stump in soil or mulch to help it rot naturally. Killing a tree stump prevents future regrowth, but you may also remove it by digging it out or grinding it.
