"Sean and his foreman Chris did a great job of repairing all of the dry rot on my home (approximately 200 linear feet), priming the new lumber, caulking and sparkling all of the work, pressure washing the house, and repainting the house and gates. Sean also replaced my bathroom light fixture, repaired one of our outdoor faucets, removed all of our raingutters, and filled the gutter downspout holes in the sidewalk with concrete. Sean was able to contact a roofer to take up and replace the shingles that needed to be removed to do the repair work as well as a company to replace the gutters. The whole project took about 3 weeks. Thank you Sean and Chris--the house looks great!"

You'll need at least two coats of paint when painting your stair railings, despite some manufacturers' claims of single-coat coverage. You can use latex or acrylic paint outdoors. Although acrylic paint tends to last longer outside, it also costs more, so if you’re painting the outside of your house, for instance, latex paint is often a go-to option. However, acrylic will be your best choice if you want to spend some extra money for added durability.

There is no one correct order for painting a room, as it largely depends on personal preference and skill level. However, for non-professional painters, we recommend the following order: ceiling, walls, doors, windows, trim. This is because painting trim, windows, and doors can be more time-consuming and meticulous, and it's best to save them for last when you’ve already gained some confidence from painting the larger surfaces.

Unlike staining concrete, painting concrete often results in chips and peeling over time. You can expect numerous touchups over the years if the concrete is in a high-traffic area. Since concrete paints are opaque, you may also find it more difficult to get the exact color results you want.
